On June 12, 2024, he set off to join his creator and reunite with loved ones. Kevin was born on May 25, 1922 in Maumee, Ohio, the beloved son of the late Kevin Augustin Gannon and Olive Zeller Gannon. Growing up along the Maumee River shaped his enduring love of nature, piqued his lasting interest in history, and nurtured his appreciation of beauty. He enjoyed an idyllic river-town boyhood when the river was so clean he could cup his hands and drink its waters. She will live on through the many people she taught, the many stories she told, and the meals she cooked. She was born in Wauseon, OH, on April 8, 1936, to Glen Reed and Ruby (Lake) Reed. Born on November 9, 1934 in Quick, West Virginia, one of a large and wonderful family, to the late Saul and Laura Hunter. Fanny was a strong-willed independent woman with a free spirit that will never be forgotten. She worked for many years at the YMCA in Toledo, Ohio. After her move to NC she did a lot of local volunteer work in the Southern Pines area. She enjoyed swimming, golf, the beach and the love of her family.
