Reboot the device running the Bose app. Electronics might need to be rebooted from time to time to correct minor issues. This is typically done by powering off the device completely and then powering it back on again. Close and re-open the Bose app.

Unplugging the soundbar from power for 30 seconds may correct any minor issues the soundbar may be experiencing. While the soundbar is unplugged, also check the connections at the back of the soundbar to ensure the cables are fully seated.

To create a SimpleSync connection without the Bose app:

With the Bose soundbar on, on the Bose remote for the soundbar, press and hold the Bluetooth button for two seconds.

Check if the Bluetooth® device is connected to another product. The Bluetooth device might not connect to your Bose product if it is already connected to another product. Go to the Bluetooth settings on the device, disconnect any connected products, then try connecting your Bose product. Reboot the Bluetooth® device.
