Wings & Waves Waterpark is an extensive indoor water park with a range of exciting attractions, including a wave pool, interactive displays, and waterslides. The facility also features Howard Hughes' Spruce Goose airplane, which is constructed entirely of wood and on permanent display. With designated areas for toddlers and children aged 5-8 years old, there are plenty of options for family fun.

So much fun!!! We went here to celebrate a family friend’s birthday. My youngest daughter had the most fun in the wave pool. The teenagers loved dodging the water from the giant bucket, and went down the water slides a lot! They had life jackets available to use, which was great for my youngest daughter to feel comfortable in the water. The lockers were easy to use and very convenient. It was a great day!

This place is definitely one of the best Waterparks in Oregon, it is a little pricey but you get a 4 hour time slot, which can really be a lot of time, when I first got there yesterday, it was not crowded at all so our family went through the water slides before the lines got too big. The idea of having an airplane with water slides is absolutely genius, the stairwell is also super smart, and the orange, and green slides are probably the coolest and most fun. The wave pool is also cool, it’s probably their most popular pool in the water park, the play structure is also pretty cool too, for little kids. The idea to rent the double innertube is also cool so you can go down with a friend or your younger kids. I’ve enjoyed Wings and Waves for many years before, and will enjoy it for many more years

So much fun for the family! We have kids ages 13 to 5 yrs, and they each loved it! There are two different kid areas, one more for tollders and one area for around 5-8 year olds. The place isn't huge, but with reservation restrictions it's not packed. The 4 big slides are fantastic! There is a food court, with food court quality and high prices. I would say skip that if you can, but with 4 hours of swimming we couldn't avoid it and opted for churros and dole whip and a whole pizza to share. After this we are headed to the museum. We will be back for sure!

Yolanda M — Google review

We went with the kids and grandkids. It was fun and the kids had a great time. It wasn't over crowded. The place appears to be well maintained. The food was average for this type of venue. However the prices were what I would consider reasonable. The only gripe is that they have a couple of basketball rims in the leisure pool. There were about 6 or so teenage boys playing water basketball(?) And it just seemed ridiculous that they would integrate this into what they call their leisure pool. It was a very creative idea to place the 747 on top of the building and integrate the water slides into the aircraft. Excellent idea!

Rick N — Google review

Oh my gosh never been here before we went and absolutely loved the place and for the price I thought was a little high at the time when I made the reservation, but when we got there it was well worth. it has lots of slides lots of things for children to do yes they have rentals for floaty tubes,, and lockers you can rent ,they have a nice snack bar upstairs lifeguards all over very professional very nice. We will be going back again. Had so much fun.

Rhonda B — Google review

This is a mixed review - customer service is great (in person) however the pricing is horrible (from a business & accounting major/owner). $30 if online per person just to get in. No outside food or drink allowed beyond a water bottle, which kind of pushes you into their food services. The Milky Way Cafe, $34 for a pizza, $4 average per drink, add in rentals for a locker or tubes and my family of 5 cost was about $225. There is a tidal pool, where they show a movie. A splash pad for 2-4 yrs, a smaller slide section for younger kids not big enough for the big slides. Leisure pool/hot tub. Then the major slides. As a local to the area I would love to take my kids here more, but I just can’t afford it.

Jenn V — Google review

This place is a must go to if you have children. It is a lot of fun and the rides are great. They have a cafe there and the food is pretty good. I would highly recommend it and then go to the Air Museum next door.

Ryan B — Google review

We have been going here and you will leave for the last 7 years. It's much more expensive now that ownership has changed hands. They did however make an exception because we came as a party of eleven and one of our relatives was visiting from Michigan and we forgot their ticket. Even though they were at full capacity they made an exception and let our relative in. That was really great. Plus it's free for kids 3 and under

Serena C — Google review

Cheaper to buy tickets on their website in advance and double check their hours. They charge $36 admission even if you don’t touch the water which is extremely ridiculous. There are no lounge chairs or anywhere to recline, even the cabana rentals don’t have them. Must bring your own towels. Much cleaner/less slimy than GWL in WA.

Jasmine F — Google review

I was reading all of the reviews on here the night before our water park trip and it had me worried but Idk if it’s just Karen’s who post anymore, but we had a great time. The place was inviting, clean, and the water was warm (in all pools except the play park water area in the back of the facility). We ordered a pizza (and yes, the cabana employees were attentive) and it came out great. We got our tubes without a problem, and we had a blast! The green slide is awesome! I only wish we were allowed to bring cake in, as we were celebrating a birthday but I get it: it’s a water park and it’s still during covid. Hot tub was open, lockers were working. If you’re going, don’t fret all the one star reviews. We all cant wait to go back!

Kristen B — Google review

We had an amazing time! Facility was clean, staff was incredible and as a 39 year old Mom I’m e sure I had a better time than the kids did. Cabana is a must if you have small children. It was convenient to rest, feed and put down for naps while the rest played!

Amy C — Google review

We had a really great time for the most part. My 11 year old son really enjoyed the water playground and actually I did as well. They have a big leisure pool with a hot tub that is on one side and a Whirlpool on the other that we all enjoyed as well. The wave pool is on the other side and somewhat fun it’s pretty shallow and the waves are small but enjoyable. We rented a mini cabana which was nice just bc it’s a bit loud and it was a nice retreat to know for sure we could come back to and keep our things.WORST PART 😷💩🤢🤮 the stairwells leading up to slides haven’t been cleaned in ages and it stinks so bad of feet and mold that you can literally see everywhere. I’m not a complainer either but it was really gross and was the main reason why we only did three runs on the tube slides. Even my son was grossed out. From the stairwell you can see all the mold that’s on the floors throughout the rest of the park which is gross as well. The family bathrooms/showers are super gross (we didn’t go into the main showers but I’m sure they are the same) the shower curtain was covered in dark colored mold and I highly recommend wearing showers shoes throughout the entire park. They SERIOUSLY need a cleaning regimen bc it was definitely the dirtiest water park I have ever been to.They only have a small amount of free tubes so we rented some but hardly used them bc the lines were kindof long and STINKY. It’s definitely an expensive place to visit and your ticket is only in four hour blocks of time so you feel a little rushed to get your moneys worth. With how expensive it is you would think they would have the resources to have a cleaning team. They do not clean this place at all. Seriously.BEST PART 🤗🛟The lifeguards are very diligent and did a super job making me as a parent feel like my 11 year old was safe as he climbed and played and swam throughout the park. Good job lifeguards thank you!!We would totally go back if they cleaned up a little bit. They should close for a couple days deep clean and then implement a regular daily cleaning schedule to keep people coming back or from coming at all really considering this seems like the number one complaint. Thanks though we did have fun besides it being stinky and moldy everywhere

Milli V — Google review

The family had a blast! I struggled to get my kids to leave. My favorite part was the wave pool. All of us dads were glued to the big screen, and as the 49rs were playing the Jaguars, all of our kids drowned. I'm just kidding. That's what the free life jackets are there for. My sons favorite part was the waterslides. The lines go by as fast as the ride itself, so that's a plus. My daughter's favorite was the water play skate with the smaller waterslides. I love how attentive the lifeguards are. We ended up getting a cabana and ordered some pizza. The service was fast, and the pizza was okay, I would say a solid 6.5/10. The locker room, as well as the bathrooms, are kept clean. I would highly recommend coming here 👌 on a side note: bundle as much as you can online. You will thank me later.

Marcus F — Google review

Super fun place to visit but very scrappy food options for 4 or even 3 hour reservations. No outside food or drink but not too fairly accommodated. YOU can buy pizza by the slice for $6 and a few other miscellaneous snacks for way to much but not "FOOD". Other than 4 options they accommodate everything else fairly well.

Sabrina A — Google review

Celebrated my daughter’s 7th year birthday there and have her cousins all come and join the fun. Everyone have theirs best times there getting to do everything there and all the adults gets to ride all the water slides.

Xeevxwm V — Google review

The facility was short staffed, but lifeguards remained helpful and kept the slide lines moving. If you buy tickets online it is $33 per person, and everyone needs a ticket. The park is a little dated, but overall in good condition. The stairwells are a little dirty, but the water and slides are well maintained and fun. For four hours of fun for kids of all ages, it's a pretty good deal. Have not tried any of the food venues inside.

Justin B — Google review

Not likely to return. We'd heard promising things, but were overall disappointed. The four hour time slot was more than enough; the experience is completely overpriced. For what you're paying to get in the door (which you pay even if you don't end up swimming), the condition of the facilities is less than desirable. Tired, dated, and overall gross conditions throughout the building. In four hours, we saw no one cleaning/picking up during our entire time there. Hair, fake nails, bandages, gum, and spit were present, especially on the stairs up to the waterslides. A March Madness game was on the big screen for the first half of the time slot, but then just left to local news for the rest (lazy and cheap). Also, the water, except in the small side leisure pool and hot tub, was COLD throughout, as was the overall inside temperature. Disappointing all around.

Kattie G — Google review

Fun place! My only complaint is the confusion with the lined to the slides. I'd there supposed to be 2 lines on the stairs or do u split off at the top?

Tonya S — Google review

If you bought the ticket you can stay in there for 4hours. 2 years and under are free. They have family changing rooms but only 4 of them. So busy I think you can use men or women changing rooms are easy way. They have 4 different big slides. Your kids measured height first. They’re tall enough or older enough they can handle it but if they were young they can go toddler size slides or little kid’s pool area too. Pretty big places. They have life guards but so loud and noisy. A lot of people are there you’re always watching your children. Restroom isn’t bad but not good enough. Shower booth don’t have hot water. Only cold water available so my youngest daughter was crying when I shower with her. Foods are pricey but not bad. Crews are kind. Plenty of parking places. Teenagers had a great time. One of best places for family.

Morai B — Google review

Cool place, Had one of the kid's bday parties here. Got a room which was huge plenty of room. 50 people easy. We also purchased a cabana or whatever, lol. So we had a place to chill at the wave pool and watch the kids.We ordered their pizza and cookies. You can't bring in your own cake or cupcakes, etc.Good cookies though. Chocolate chip.Pepperoni & cheese pizza was decent!Kids had a great time. And that's all we care about!

History museum

The Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum boasts a collection of historic aircraft, including the world's largest. Visitors can also enjoy a water park and 3D theater. The museum is staffed by friendly volunteers who provide an entertaining experience. While the admission price may seem high at $20 per adult, it is understandable as the funds go towards restoration efforts. Overall, it is a great place to explore aviation history and learn about incredible airplanes and space technology.

Okay. First, this place is awesome. A lot of history and interesting information, as well as many famous and incredible airplanes and such. The space side was even better. The volunteers were very nice, and we were well entertained. My only gripe is the price. And while I understand the importance of them making money to fund the restoration and everything, $20 an adult seemed high. $15 seems better, but I'm splitting hairs. No regrets, and my wife and kid enjoyed it!

Sam B — Google review

We're lucky to have the air and space museum so close to us. Each time we visit, we always find something that we missed before. With plenty of great planes on display, the Spruce Goose, and the space museum next door, you could spend a day here easily. Staff is friendly, helpful and informative. There are snacks and a gift shop and a free water jug if you get thirsty. The facility is layer out nicely and a self tour is easily achieved.

Gary P — Google review

This is a very interesting place to visit and it is appealing to all ages. There are airplanes hanging from the ceiling and a few small amusem*nt park type rides for the kids to enjoy. They had a pretty good crowd on this Saturday afternoon. There is a small restaurant inside and also a large playground outside for the kids as well. This is a clean, well organized and very informative facility. All things to do with flight are on display here and you will not be disappointed.

Rick S — Google review

I haven't been here since before COVID, and I realized they have lost some of their aircraft (along with all of their armored vehicles), but it is still a great experience. The museum is well maintained with tons of information and the aircraft are just amazing. There is obviously the Me262, which is incredibly rare and an incredible feat of engineering, but I was surprised to see other weirder aircraft there as well. For instance, I had never heard of, let alone seen, a Mojave. I was also excited to see that they have a Mohawk, another very interesting (and rare) aircraft.

Rick R — Google review

It was 22 for an adult when we went . It was t crowded at all, there were an absolutely insane amount of planes. The exhibits were pretty friendly too. A couple you could into as well. You could get in the spruce goose and the dc 3. You were actually able to touch a ton of stuff. Lots of amazing docents. Highly worth your time.

Jason M — Google review

A fun place to explore for kids and adults alike. The biggest (literally) attraction in the Aviation side is the 'Spruce Goose', of course, and it is certainly a sight to behold. It is an incredible feat of engineering and the sheer size is astounding. But there are plenty of other cool aircraft to check out. Stop by the gift shop for some souvenirs! The Space side is very well put together with easy-to-read history and rare artifacts from space missions. The tallest attraction there is the Titan II rocket which sits in a 3 story silo and reaches up towards the roof. The SR-71 is also really cool to see in person.Hit it at the right times and you can sit and visit with veterans and experts in the various exhibits and learn history directly from those who experienced it.Overall we had a great visit and look forward to going back when we are in the area again. 🚀✈️

Chris C — Google review

Amazing museum. Parking is so easy there. Ticket prices are okay in general. Volunteers did a great job in facilitating the visit and they were available if you need any information. The museum is divided into two separate buildings, one as aviation museum and the other as space . Both are amazing. There’s a huge opportunity to take different photos. You should try the simulator during your visit .

Hassan M — Google review

I have always had a love of aviation. Case in point, I once asked to go to the airport for my birthday to watch the airplanes when I was little. That being said, Evergreen is one of my favorite places in Oregon. I now have a membership, and I love taking friends and family and sharing this place with them any chance I get. P.S. The water park is a blast too!!

Dana V — Google review

For someone who is not really interested in airplanes, this was a really good airplane museum. We got to see how a part of the Aviator was filmed, were able to go into airplanes and see the history of flight. Unfortunately we weren't able to go into the planes outside since the workers said the door wasn't opening and closing correctly on those planes. The kids really liked the outside airplane themed playground. It is accessible outside without admission.

Gergely K — Google review

Very cool museum. From someone that is not from the area, it is in a non-conventional location … about an hour south of Portland if you happen to be flying into Portland International. My tour guide (optional) was great. Very knowledgeable and fun. This tour was just under an hour.First Come First Served extra co*ckpit tours of the Spruce Goose are a must. Sit in the same seat Howard Hughes sat in 75 years ago.I highly recommend the entire day as there is so much to see … I only had 4 hours and regret it. Will have to come back!!

Spencer M — Google review

Awesome museum and we’ll worth the trip and price of admission. Multiple buildings so don’t miss out. It’s incredible to get this close or inside of one of these beautiful planes. So much information you could spend a day here.Any staff we interacted with were incredibly nice and helpful.Come out. Learn. Enjoy. And make sure to look up, down, and behind you. There’s so much stuff packed in here. The spruce goose, the blackbird sr 71, and so much more.

Karl W — Google review

Stopped in the Evergreen Aviation Museum in McMinnvill, OR while on a recent business trip. Locals told me that the Howard Hughes seaplane the "Spruce Goose" was on display. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there dozens of planes spanning from the beginning of flight to present day. There is also a space museum featuring a fantastic history of the history of rocketry and the space mission. A S71 Blackbird is also on display among many other fighter jets and several helicopters as well. We ran out of time and I look forward to my next visit to the area to spend more time at this wonderful museum and preservation of our aviation history. Highly reccomend to all.

Jim J — Google review

We've been here a bunch of times with our kids. Our last trip was with our Scouts BSA troop. The museum is really generous to scouts! We were able to camp on the museum grounds, and the staff was really excited, and really engaged with our Scouts! My son was really happy that one of the guides let them behind several of the barriers to get up cost and personal with several of the planes. The museum is really excellent, and has a ton of interesting and historically significant artifacts, including the Spruce Goose, which is really impressive in person. The museum is divided into two main collections - air and space though the space museum has a bunch of planes and helicopters - including an SR-71!They move things around and swap stuff in and out so that it's a different experience every time, though there seems to be a core set of planes that are always there -including the Spruce Goose obviously. The theater plays mostly educational films related to flight or space in some way. They were playing a 3D movie about birds and a movie about Saturn's rings when we went. The staff mentioned that the museum is under new management, who has plans to expand, including adding a restoration facility, a couple of hotels and some general improvements to the facilities. I believe they also mentioned a possible expansion of the water park. I don't know how concrete those plans are, but it would be cool to see the water park expanded - as is, it feels a little small and doesn't keep our kids interested for more than an hour or so - though having all of the water sides start out inside a 747 is pretty novel.Overall, I highly recommend the museum. If you have kids in a scouting organization, like Cub Scouts or Scouts BSA, that goes double!

Aaron H — Google review

This place is huge! There is so much to see and explore and learn! Beautiful facility! Amazing to see all the wonderful technology and how far we’ve come. The diversity of planes to see was unbelievable. The cafe has basic food but they have a cafe nonetheless. I would say you need at least 5 hours checking this place out. I highly recommend this place!

Marion N — Google review

A friend had told me about this museum prior to my recent road trip and I enjoy a good aerospace museum so I figured I’d check it out…All I can say is WOW! I was absolutely floored from literally miles away when I saw the Evergreen 747 perched on top of a multi-story building, and it only got better from there! The variety in the collection is impressive, the architecture is stunning, and the staff were super friendly and helpful.I had to force myself to leave so I could continue north, but I could have spent all day there. It’s a must-see museum for aviation and space enthusiasts.

Dom D — Google review

This was a surprise! I mostly went because my husband and son wanted to go, but it was great! The Spruce Goose is incredible and there were several sections of the space exhibit that made me emotional. We even met the gentleman that worked on the Atlas Rocket Booster. So cool! Definitely make this part of your vacation!

Jayne T — Google review

A must see Air museum for any aviation enthusiast and a great place to visit for just about anyone. The kids will absolutely love it as there are all kinds of aircrafts and a section dedicated to space craft and travel – the space museum. A big added attraction for kids (or perhaps the main attraction, depending on the ages and interests) would be the Wings and Waves water park. Would recommend spending at least a couple of hours in each exhibit hall – the air and the space museums. Of course one might end up spending more time at the air museum exhibit hall where the main attraction Hughes H-4 Hercules ‘Spruce Goose’ is displayed. There is a special tour of the Spruce Goose provided and you should factor in some time for that as well, should you decide to take it. It wasn’t crowded at all when we visited and you can spend enough time at each aircraft display, get to know more about them and their amazing history, take pictures. You could take a break between the two exhibit halls as you can come back into the museum, the tickets are valid for multiple entries. This way you don’t overwhelm yourself in one straight stretch and get the most out of the trip. There is plenty of parking spaces available but it’s a good idea to get there early, especially if you are planning to spend the whole day visiting the museums and water park.

Localizer — Google review

This museum is fantastic! There are a lot of aircraft and space exhibits that all have videos or placards explaining their significance. The space museum has more interactive areas for children than the aircraft portion, but both are filled with interesting things to see and learn. The Spruce Goose is awe aspiring, and seeing it in person is way more impressive than online. If you take it slow and read the placards and watch the videos, this easily makes for a few hours of fun for the family!

C — Google review

This is a great regional museum; the Spruce Goose is something everyone should see at least once!! I love the collection of airplanes and helicopters, but the Space exhibit has always been Luigi to the Airplane's Mario. Such a bummer they lost the bid for that Space Shuttle years ago. It's still good though, don't get me wrong!! The vibe is just a little different, with all the replicas. I'm surprised they've never added a Conference Center and hotel to the overall campus.

Jordan H — Google review

My family and I have been many times and it never gets old. The amount of stuff on display is incredible and the staff are some of the coolest people you could ever meet.Plus if you're a member of the Gilbert House in Salem admission is free according to your membership level!!This place is amazing!! Great place to take the family for a day trip.

This place is a gem! Finally got some time in the Spruce Goose. I'm a pilot so I loved it! Don was amazing! Great conversation over the SR 71 Blackbird. I'm going to get a membership.

One of the best air museums I have visited. Super clean, plenty of birds to look at. Separate museum for space items. Lots of fun.

What a wonderful experience! Staff/volunteers were very friendly and informative. So much information along with visual stimuli. Took several hours to visit both buildings and see planes outside. Of course, the Spruce Goose was the star attraction!

This place was phenomenal. As I walked through the exhibits, I thought to myself, "How in the world did mankind make these marvels?" Everything from the Spruce Goose to the lunar vehicles. Inspiring!

What an amazing display of aerial vehicles! The entire family enjoyed the place. We didn't even realize there's a whole Waterpark attached. We were sore from standing for so long taking pictures and reading.

This place is worth the visit. You get the chance to talk with the engineers and pilots who have flown the planes or operated the engines that were tested for the early space programs. These people gave such warm welcome to me that I would've wanted to stay there the whole day. What a awesome place👍

Teemu B — Google review

Excellent exhibits. Definitely will go back to be able to dedicate more time to enjoy such a fantastic place.

meralis — Google review

Outstanding collection of aircraft including famous one-of-a-kind Spruce Goose (Hughes H4 Hercules) and relatively rare SR-71 Blackbird with a more complete collection of its associated camera and sensor modules out for display than I’ve seen before. Exhibited aircraft are well-spaced and well-lit for easy photography in a beautiful indoor museum facility (not just a hangar). The docents were extremely knowledgeable and spent time educating and answering questions. A private tour of the Spruce Goose flight deck is available- well worth the extra charge.

Shopping Malls

Had a great time. So many stores. We drove 4 hours to see this place. Got some shoes and some clothes and went into alot of the stores.

Dana M — Google review

The Woodburn outlet mall is a mecca for shopping. There are hundreds of stores to choose from. There are enormous parking lots, but it is a very popular place so often it is very competitive to try to find a spot. There are many dining and refreshment options that are moderately priced. The retail stores range from small odd ones to very large well-known brand names. Much of the mall is covered so even on a rainy Pacific Northwest day, it is possible to walk around and stay dry. Overall this is a tremendous shopping experience and it is conveniently located between Salem and Portland.

David S — Google review

Woodburn Premium Outlets is a popular shopping destination for my wife and me, thanks to its wide range of stores and brands. We often find ourselves visiting this mall to take advantage of the great deals and our favorite outlets. The mall hosts a variety of our favorite stores, including:- **Nike**- **Polo Ralph Lauren**- **The Cosmetics Company Store**- **Disney**- **Pendleton**These stores offer a diverse selection of products, from clothing and shoes to cosmetics and unique Disney merchandise, making it easy for us to find exactly what we need.Joining the free VIP Club has been beneficial, as it provides additional discounts at many of our favorite outlets. This membership enhances our shopping experience, allowing us to save even more on already discounted items. One area where Woodburn Premium Outlets could improve is its dining options. While the mall does have some classic choices like Auntie Anne's Pretzels and Cinnabon, the overall selection is limited and not particularly exciting. More diverse and interesting food choices would greatly enhance the experience, especially during long shopping trips. The mall features a pretty nice arcade, which is a great way to break up the shopping routine. Our kids really enjoy spending time there, making it a convenient option for families. The arcade provides a fun distraction and keeps the kids entertained, allowing us to shop a bit longer.Overall, Woodburn Premium Outlets is a fantastic place for shopping, especially if you're looking for deals at popular outlets. The additional discounts through the VIP Club are a great perk. However, the limited food options are a downside, but the presence of a fun arcade helps make up for it, especially for families.

An enjoyable Outlet place for shopping spree with lots of stores that offers good deals and it’s tax free. I got a variety of shoes, clothes, puffy jackets etc. Nike and Clarks‘ offered the best deals.

Nice outlet with a wide variety of stores that all have worthwhile discounts. Has a lot of outdoor walking space. No Wi-Fi from the actual outlet but most stores have their own Wi-Fi. Also has some small food stores. Plenty of parking available. I would suggest to visit it if you’re in Oregon to take advantage of no sales tax in the state.

Hassan M — Google review

Here for 4th July mainly for shopping and hopefully some bargains but also to escape from the searing heat. Definitely good buys to be had but you need to shop about. North Face was especially good. Despite the parking lot being almost full at the front it never really seemed that busy in the mall. There are however limited options for food here and what there is really is a rip off.

Brian M — Google review

Almost every name brand store you could imagine here; it's a super fun place to have a great shopping experience. Although a lot of the stores are definitely overpriced. Have fun trying to find a parking spot!! Definitely, the best time to go would be during the weekdays

A must visit place. Really worth coming, we came here by Amtrak bus from Portland Union station which took about 50 minutes, ticket costs $8. Bus stopped on the opposite side of the highway and took a 10-minute walk to the outlet.

Everything here you need, name brands galore. Bathrooms stinks need attention badly. Nike was packed so was UGG good deals going on. Kids play house was cute but closed.

Lots of great shops with great prices, Bring your walking shoes there's going to be lots of walking

This place is a must-visit and totally worth the trip! Easy and convenient! Lots of great brands have a shop.Parking was available while our visit.

Muge B — Google review

Awesome place to shop with great discounts in alot of famous brands . They offer good food with different varieties.

Amazing outlet mall ! Lots of stores to choose from like Nike, The north face, Coach, Sunglass Hut, Columbia, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Eddie Bauer, Banana Republic, so on, etc. plenty of places to eat and drink. Lots of parking and the prices were great we got 60% off off of our north face TNF stuff which is totally worth it!! #stoked!!!

Meadow S — Google review

This place has a lot of factory stores in close proximity, which is nice. Adidas, under armour, Nike, Puma, North Face, Oakley, etc. Prices aren't always the greatest, but it's nice to have so many stores carrying competing products in close proximity, it allows you to quickly shop and see if you can find what you want. Huge parking lot, it can definitely get super crowded. This is quite a large outlet mall so be prepared to do some walking if you're going to several stores.

James M — Google review

This is a really great outlet mall. There is a large variety of shops to choose from and it looked like new ones were coming soon, specifically Lululemon. The parking can be a nightmare as it’s almost always full. But I love that there are so many people with dogs walking the grounds.

Marcee H — Google review

My friends took me there from Seattle.Got some products from Adidas and Nike. But not from The North Face as they run out of some size.

Sai L — Google review

Best thing is no tax but hard to find any deals and it’s not like it was in the past. Not many food options and didn’t find anything interesting. Similar to Seattle premium but tax there and few other additions here like north face and new balance. Usually I end up find things at the normal stores with styles and sizes that don’t work out.

Mike — Google review

07/08/23: I came back to purchase some items and everything was still great. The Adidas store got redesigned with new looks and offers 40% off store wide. The directory at the front is super helpful for visitors like me to quickly search the brands. I enjoyed my visit06/10/23: this outlet is way better than the ones in Washington. It has a larger parking lot with selections of brands ranging from small, medium to large. There are tons of great deals on different items and especially there are no TAXES. I enjoyed shopping around and will come back in the future

Amusem*nt park ride

Sights & Landmarks

Salem's Riverfront Carousel is a non-profit organization that features an indoor carousel with over 40 hand-carved horses. The attraction opened in 2001 and relies on volunteers to run smoothly, providing an affordable opportunity for kids to have fun riding the ponies. The staff is known for being kind and passionate about creating a welcoming environment for visitors. In addition to the carousel, there is a cute shop and fresh popcorn vendor available on site.

How can you not like this place? The staff are kind, the kids love it, and they run on volunteers, so you feel like they really love this place and want to just see kids having fun. Buy the big punch card and it's like a buck a ride, and that's so well priced that anyone can afford it- which is their whole goal. We love bringing our kid to the park, then letting her ride the ponies before coming home. Thanks to all the folks who put love and detail into the carving, the staffing, the cleaning- you guys are amazing!

Jim S — Google review

Great little place for a quick childhood memory for the adults and one to create for the children. My son and I enjoyed a ride as well as a frozen treat. Definitely a stop that everyone should make while in salem.

Christina S — Google review

The carousel is located in such beautiful area. The rides are so well-maintained and is perfect to take your family and then go play at the park. Their gift shop is very nice and they had a nice selection of ice cream. We will definitely be back.

We loved being able to visit the Salem Carousel downtown! 🎠 It's super convenient for families and accessible for those with disabilities. It's right beside the waterfront park so make a day out of it! The gift shop is attached to the carousel and you can buy your tokens to ride here. The price is perfect! The kiddos love dropping their tokens in the box before they ride. The carousel is super cute, clean, and fun! All the animals are so creative and bright. My little one had a hard time choosing her favorite for each ride. If you have a toddler or younger kiddo you can ride beside for free.Masks required here and there is hand sanitizer available. The staff does a great job of keeping things here clean and they have a good routine to sanitize between each ride. Great place to visit if you're traveling with kids or anyone who's young at heart. Highly recommend. I love to support this place! ❤☆Review Update☆We still love this place and try and go once a week to support them! They have lots of fun activities for kiddos around holidays (Chrsitmas, Valentines Day). You can even rent their party room, which is super fun!

Carri T — Google review

One of my favorite places to go and have fun! I used to ride this all the time when I was younger. I hope to return someday and ride it again.

Glad to have made it for the last ride of the day - my late grandmother's birthday the second of witch I've only had her in spirit as they say. She was so happy to go there any time and it never fails to delight with the beautiful created by hand stunning ride animals. I cried most of the trip around but it's an amazing feeling to know that the lights and music will always be there to cherish in her memory. Thank you so much! There was video but I don't have permission from the teenager by my side to post publicly so :)

Ashley J — Google review

We came for a birthday party. The room you can rent is pretty tight but you get unlimited carousel rides... for 2 hours only. Between the party, eating, gifts, singing happy birthday, carousel time leaves something to be desired. It should be all day free carousel. My friend did great for her kids' party. I just wouldn't recommend this package, it's not good enough

Tricia M — Google review

What a fun place to take young kids. My 5 year old really enjoyed it. Very cute shop and a man selling fresh popcorn.

Jenna W — Google review

Such a fun carousel. The staff was nice, friendly, and informative. We even got to see some of the characters that were in the process of being made. It was so cool to learn about the process and see them before they become the amazing characters we ride on. There's a park that has a splash pad and playground right in the same area. Perfect place to spend the day and have a picnic.

Kristina S — Google review

My family LOVED it here!!! It was reasonably priced and fun for the whole family! One of the coolest things was we got to see a man creating a brand new Pegasus in the shop inside the gift shop! That was amazing!!!

Excellent place to share with your children, very nice, I recommend it

Yofrel C — Google review

This carousel was cute! Quick ride. The building feels small, could just be because there was a lot of people there. The animals are carved beautifully.

Erica — Google review

Great place for young and old. $2 to ride the Carousel. Beautifully painted horses (and friends).

Marcia J — Google review

We love visiting!! We stop at carousels often. This is the fastest carousel, it's a bit smaller too. My daughter loves the ring game but all the times she has rode they never have played the game. She is very sad about it. I feel the venue should have more seating options, tables. Also it would be great to have a snack bar. They do popcorn and cotton candy supposedly. We haven't seen them do it. The girl with dark hair that works in the store she is always nice.

Ashley B — Google review

The experience at the Carousel itself was wonderful! My son and I had so much fun. However, the shop manager was rude to me, I don't want to say it was "discrimination" as I was dressed "relaxed/sloppy".... But that's what it felt like from treatment, tone and verbal communication. I still purchased the toy for my son but I will not be returning to buy anything other than carousel tickets. It's a shame. I probably would have purchased more things if the customer service was different 🤷🏼‍♀️. The carousel operator, food stand and the rest of the environment was amazing.

Zalena M — Google review

Great for a weekday evening with small kids. Not expensive to ride and they do have a gift shop. They usually have popcorn and cotton candy booth around as well. The week end is more busy but still not a terrible wait

Just J — Google review

My kids and I had fun at the carousel. The employees were very nice and friendly. The have carvings on the top sides of the carousel that represent Oregon. They also have a carved Salmon that they occasionally turn out with rings in its mouth and if you grab a gold ring you get a free ride. The gift shop is really nice as well!

Tim M — Google review

The fam had a blast!! We did have to stand in a long line but it was worth it the kids loved it and we have pictures to remind us of the good times!!!!! LOVE IT!!THANK YOU SANTA!!!

We enjoyed our visit to Salem, OR. Riding the Carousel was an added bonus for us. The carved horses, etc, are beautiful, and the staff takes the time to explain the process of carving while doing so. Amazing experience.

M L — Google review

I took my brother, his wife, and daughter to Salem's Riverfront Carousel and they enjoyed it immensely! We marveled at the craftsmanship of each horse (or other piece) on the carousel itself and how each is hand-carved and painted. Truly iconic in this day and age, and one that is definitely a "must see" when visiting in Salem, Oregon!

Joe K — Google review

Fun stop on our road trip to stretch the legs. I was shocked at how clean the park and grounds were. Cleanest public bathrooms I have ever seen! We loved seeing the craftsmen working on new horses. It was simple fun.

Went here with my niece and nephews and they had a blast! Parents could stand alongside if needed during the ride. Gift shop was entertaining and there was a bathroom inside (huge plus for this area).

Cozy rooms with fireplaces in a Frank Lloyd Wright-designed hotel set in a botanical garden.

The visit was enjoyable. The gardens are beautiful. The restrooms were clean and stocked. The well maintained paths made it easy to enjoy each garden. (Folks with mobility challenges may have issues in some areas of the garden.) However, a tram is available during the busy season. Our grandson enjoyed the kids garden. It was nice to see that a garden was specifically designed for dogs. We will definitely be back!

Joe R — Google review

This was a really nice place. It's hilly in some areas, but gradual enough to not really be too difficult if you're older. There are also many benches for resting, everywhere you walk. We loved walking the paths. Very well maintained.

Northern G — Google review

Beautiful garden experience. This facility can be walked on foot or experienced via tram for mobility limited folks or do both as the tram ride guides you through the gardens and narrates some of the history and unique features of the gardens you might miss other wise. We did both with the tram ride first and went back and strolled the gardens to take more time seeing the features. Definitely worth the drive to Silverton, Oregon. Also of note take your time driving through town lots of well maintained Victorian style homes.

Michael A — Google review

This place is like a Shangri-La, a hidden utopia. Every turn takes you to a new garden. See if you can find the blue snake hunting for tree frogs in the pond in my first picture. The other four pictures were from last summer. That tells you how much we love this place.Plus they got the best fireworks show on July the 4th eve.

Brian T — Google review

The Gardens have come such a long way from its early days. I finally bought a membership to support its continued growth and expansion. The grounds are relaxing and beautiful, and I love that dogs are welcome. There is a small nursery onsite that sells great plants at minimal cost, and a lovely gift shop to browse. I'm a little concerned about the reed canary grass that has taken over the wetlands. Eliminating it will be costly and time-consuming but eventually ecologically necessary. Regardless, the Gardens are a great place to take visiting friends and family or to spend a day on your own. Highly recommended.

Ann K — Google review

It’s was pretty. I just wish the middle water fountain worked. It was raining but no one was around. We didn’t see people until 10am when we left. Took an hr to walk the whole thing. My cat loved it.

I'm a school bus driver by trade but a gardener at heart. I drove the honor students up last Tuesday and couldn't resist going in. Just stepping foot inside the gates and my soul opened up and I was in heaven. Its early spring still so not everything is in full bloom but thats perfectly okay. Everything I saw was beyond words. If your into earth and sun and moon or just into beautiful flowers this place is where its at. I left feeling centered and grounded and loved. I can't recommend this place enough. I bought an annual membership because I found my new sanctuary.

Linda K — Google review

Lovely well maintained garden and the colors of the flowers make the garden more beautiful. Butterflies hover around the flowers. Saw lots of bees too. One can take the tram too if one does not want to walk around the garden. I was really mesmerized after seeing so many types of beautiful trees and flowers. It is a must visit.

Soumyodipta M — Google review

I’m someone who’s typically not super interested in nature, but the Oregon garden was absolutely incredible!! The place is gorgeous and has so much variety of nature, while still feeling authentic and not forced. Great place to be alone in your thoughts.

Kirin C — Google review

We visited the Oregon Garden at the beginning of September for a special homeschool day event. The gardens were beautiful! There were many different flowers, plants, and water features to see. It was a lovely walk. The kids had a lot of fun - there were frogs and caterpillars to find, a big pirate ship to play on, a dinosaur fossil sand pit to dig in, an underground tunnel to crawl through, some cute chickens to see... And more :) the staff were all friendly and very kind as well! We spent over 4 hours there. Lots of spaces to have a picnic with your family and friends.

Amanda G — Google review

I love this garden. Half hour tram ride will show highlights of the garden. Tram is $4 per person. Free for kids. Reciprocal memberships are available starting at $50.00, meaning there are more than 300 gardens and arboretums in the country that accept your membership as a "paid in full" entry. The garden is separate from the resort and cannot be accessed from the hotel. The Visitor Center shop has wonderful plants, gifts, and souvenirs and closes at 4 pm. Paying guests may remain inside the park and exit through an outdoor gate after that time.

Cindy B — Google review

This is a beautiful place that we didn't really know about until a month ago. The size of the gardens rivals anything in a big city, and is extremely well laid out. The garden art and sculptures were lovely. The only thing I was disappointed in was the secret garden. It was not well maintained and almost felt "forgotten". There is a large tram that will take you everywhere if you can't or don't want to walk. We will definitely come back with our Mom, and try to see it at Christmas too.

Ann T — Google review

Such an awesome place, even in the early spring things are blooming and the kids had a blast.

Tara D — Google review

What isn’t amazing about this place? I’ve always had an amazing time booking the girlfriend experience! The massages are the best around!

Michelle M — Google review

Really lovely. Feels a world away from Salem, yet is less than a 30 minute drive. Wish we lived close enough to visit a few times a year to see how it looks in different seasons. Definitely spend the small fee ($3 when we were there) for the tram ride overview before setting out to explore on foot.

Diana G — Google review

120 acres of peace and serenity!I made the mistake and came here for the first time yesterday! Now, I am going to purchase the season pass and come once a month! I am going to take the tram every time and find my favorite, of the 25 unique gardens, then walk my 10,000 steps. It is the perfect place to get exercise because they have 5 miles of pathways!I am so glad I found Marion County! Just driving to the garden, you feel the fertility and fruitfulness of the soil. I just wish every plot had a sign to label what was growing! This will be a perfect field trip for my students too!

Theme park

Water & Amusem*nt Parks

Enchanted Forest is a well-established amusem*nt park that offers a variety of classic rides and storybook-inspired attractions for children. The park caters primarily to younger visitors since some areas are small and require crawling. However, the pizza served at the park may not meet everyone's expectations, as it has a school-like flavor. The limited options for snacks and drinks were also noted by some visitors. Nonetheless, Enchanted Forest features several enjoyable areas such as the haunted house.

I have lived in Eugene for 24 years and had never been to Enchanted Forest until today. My husband and I took my son for the first time, he is 2.5 and he absolutely LOVED it! The storybook houses, the slides, the beautiful Oregon backdrop, the rides and the staff were all wonderful! It is kinda spending, but in my opinion, worth every penny! I highly, highly recommend for any kiddo 2+! We will most definitely be back very soon!

Shelbie L — Google review

We had so much fun with our 6 year old. This place is worth every dime you spend and every mile you drive. It will take all day to enjoy your visit if you want to e place every attraction and ride every ride. There are lots of hills to walk up and down so take your cane if you need one. It's totally wheelchair accessible. There are gifts for everyone and food. It's not overpriced at all in my opinion. You can tell the owner put his heart and soul into Enchanted Forest. Thank you sir!!

Michelle H — Google review

Cute little place! On our drive back to California we decided to stop w/our 2 year old. It’s a walking fairy-tale tour at first, with a western town and some rides and activities.2y/o loved the story/fairy tale tour and ran all around!Cute little place for a fun quick stop.It appears you can take food in. So it would be a cute half day to take a picnic/food and get the kids out!Wish we lived closer but it was fun!$22 is the adult ticket price and was a bit steep considering it’s just a walking thing but it was still fun.

Sara R — Google review

This is easily my favorite theme park. The shady trees make even the hottest days bearable, the attractions are quirky and cute, and it’s fun for both kids and adults alike.

S X — Google review

There are a lot of hands-on play for little ones. There are no all-day passes, so expect to pay $3.00 -$5.00 per ride, per person. However, you can bring your own food and food prices at the park are reasonable, So it balances out.I came here when I was 5 and now my grandson comes here. It's cool to take pictures of him in front of the same attractions that I did as a child. For me, it brings up a sense of nostalgia and I enjoy coming because I remember my father and I playing on the witch slide, the old lady in the shoe slide, and other attractions that are still present. Now, I get to make new memories with my grandchild. I do wish they had a annual pass so that I could come more often.Another positive is thst this park is family-owned and you are supporting a local business. They seem to make sure that things are reasonably priced. It's well worth it if you have little kids. There's a Western Village, an Old English Village, castles, and plenty of photo opportunities. There are a few rides and attractions that would be fun for teenagers, but they may get bored quickly. Teenagers may not have such a great time, save for the unique pictures they could take in front of a variety of locations. So, if your teenager is big into selfies and picture taking, a few basic rides, and a haunted house they may enjoy it for a little while.Me, personality, I love coming here with my grandkids.

Kris B — Google review

This family-owned theme park is a unique experience, and I would recommend it to any family in the area. It is not the kind of park that you go too far out of your way for, but it is worth visiting if you are within an hour's drive from it. This park seems to have three main areas, the story book land, the western land, and an area with rides. The story book area takes you through a bunch of structures and scenes based on traditional children's stories (Alice in Wonderland, Humpty Dumpty, etc.) and is full of cute and somewhat creepy statues. There are some fun house like structures and the children I was with had a great time here. This area leads you to the western area which is a little western town with a BBQ restaurant and gift shop. There is also a "cave" for kids to explore that loops around to another area of the western park. The western area was my least favorite. It is fairly small and mostly full of facades that you cannot go into. Once you go through the western area you get to the theme park rides. There is a haunted house the I recommend going through. It is a little too dark in some areas but for the most part you can see everything clearly. It is all animatronic stuff in the house, so you do not have to worry about people following you or jumping out at you. The other ride I went on was the Ice Mountain Bobsled and it was WAY more fun than I expected it to be. It was a bumpy ride, and it was over in seconds, but I recommend getting on it if you can. The bobsled ride also had the longest wait. We were in line for 20-30 minutes. You do have to buy tickets to ride anything at Enchanted Forest, so you have to pay for the price of admission AND tickets to ride which are a dollar per ticket. Most rides cost 3-5 tickets each. The food we got was inexpensive and good for what we paid. We got chicken fingers, a corndog, and some nacho fries and I actually enjoyed them. They weren't spectacular but they were definitely edible. This was a super unique theme park and has mostly been kept up well. I would definitely recommend coming here if you have little ones and are nearby.

Rosie T — Google review

Overall it’s a great place to take kids mostly since half of the places to see are too small for adults to crawl and do all the times of moving haha . The pizza was school pizza flavor in the sense of would be delicious but it wasn’t up there . Wish they had more options like teas and pretzels . Half of the stores were closed when we went . Did enjoy the theme and areas like the haunted house . Tickets are up there in price so save money before hand because for two adults and a kid your already up to like $70 . That doesn’t include rides you want to get on . Enjoy it though since it’s rare to have places open now a days.

Wonder W — Google review

Always a great place to take the family. The parking lot was full but they had an overflow lot down the stairs street with a shuttle bus that would drop you off right in front. There is an entrance fee, once your inside, you will have to purchase tickets to go on rides. Very nostalgic for those who grew up going there. Feels good to support a local family run amusem*nt park.

Andrew O — Google review

Absolutely love this place. This is an adventure and must see for any age. It is family owned and has a great history. Walk through the park and see cement sculptures of Alice and the wonderland, snow white, Hansel and gretle, etc. Some are animated, some have neon waters. It really is cute.

Emily C — Google review

My boyfriend and I came here to check it out it gave me memories to some of my favorite old stories. I really liked how everything was set up and it was very popular. Bring walking shoes and there is food in the park. Dress light and careful with your heads taller adults. A lot of parking but can get packed during summers.

Emily G — Google review

It has gotten kinda expensive. Some parts are run down but it’s got a fun nostalgic vibe. Needs more drinking fountains. I only saw one. Kinda chilly since it’s in the forest so wear a jacket.

Tai L — Google review

We had so much fun. The show was funny. The haunted house was actually scary. The old town was great. The shoe slide was fun. All the sights were great.

Mark M — Google review

Been wanting to check it out for years! Decided to go with the family for my birthday.Such a cute spot to spend the afternoon. The kids storybook side takes you back with the nostalgic feeling. Western town has some fun activities. You can even cash unused tickets in at the end of your trip!

Beautiful location, on a hill in the woods. So it’s protected from the heat!!!The windy ways with angle make it hard for toddlers to walk around. My and my friends little took a dive on the pavement. Our toddlers were 2,5, our oldest 5 years. They’ve had the perfect age for most rides. It was disappointing you had to pay for every single ride also when you HAD to get in the ride with your little one even tho they would’ve been perfectly fine without you. So entry+snacks+ rides ends up in a pretty spendy day. So definitely nothing we will be doing every year and especially not more than once since it really cuts into a budget. But nevertheless it’s a beautiful park with lots of love to the detail. Coming from Germany visiting amusem*nt parks was a thing k grew up with. But you pay admission and the parks are filled with rides you can get in all day long as many times as you want. So this was a disappointment. We will definitely do our amusem*nt park visit in Germany next year and are excited! If you ever get close to Oldenburg there’s k e right at the ocean!!!! Amazing vied and a day full of fun!!!!

I have came here since I was a child. Love this place. Looks like it's been updated with new paint, some new signage, more food places and everything was working. One of the best trips to here yet! So much fun! Even as adults I had as much fun as I did when I was a child! 💯 Worth the price to go play all day! Lots of fairy tales, rides and slides.

S R — Google review

I went to mock what I expected to be poorly-made,yet kitschy Disney knock-offs in someone's backyard, only to be stunned by a delightful theme park that truly punches above its weight. The place is compact, allowing you to experience all of it — live shows and rides included — in just a day. And that's not a downside. Shake off the Disney and big amusem*nt park trauma, and revel in a day filled with quirky attractions, from Pirate sing-a-longs to genuinely thrilling log flume rides. During my visit, the lines moved swiftly, especially in the early hours. The food is astonishingly affordable for theme park fare. In fact, it's a steal even by regular fast-food standards. While it may not be gourmet, it delivers exactly what you'd hope for, with a few pleasant surprises thrown in, like a barbecue joint and an ice cream shop offering dole whip.In addition to admission, you so have to pay extra for thrill rides (Haunted house, alpine coaster, log flume water ride, and an interactive dragon shooting ride), it is worth it.Yes, there are some odd (ugly), offbeat, and occasionally malfunctioning sculptures and animatronics. But there's such inherent charm and whimsy in it all that it's easy to overlook. I walked in a snarky skeptic, only to walk out proudly donning a souvenir t-shirt and wearing an incredulous smile.Highly recommended.A perfect score of 10/10 enchantments.

Myron M — Google review

The biggest thing I would suggest is wait until your kiddos are old enough to walk the park. Bring backpacks with whatever food/drink you want for the day. Do not bring your stroller, or your wagon. You won't be able to get around inside of hardly any of the attractions. You'd be able to walk the normal paths but you'll be stuck to the main trails and unable to go inside the attractions. I own a Wonderfold wagon and we went to take it into the first castle and we couldn't even make it inside. If you have a small baby, I suggest wearing them. :)There are no more ride bracelets so rides cost $3 -$5 per person per ride.I have two toddlers I took with me and was hopeful we could ride the MTN ride but no one was able to give me an answer as to if they both could ride with me. I was told id have to purchase tickets, wait in line and ask the operator. HOWEVER tickets are refundable. My kids loved the slides! They wore themselves out running up and down the slides ❤️

Alisha S — Google review

Hey, so I went to the Enchanted Forest theme park the other day and it was awesome! I got our tickets online, which were cheaper than at the door, so I'd recommend doing that before you go. It's been a while since I've been there, and they've made a lot of great updates. The staff is always super helpful and friendly, they go above and beyond. The log ride was closed the day I went, but they gave us free tickets for any other ride we wanted to go on. We went to the haunted house, which was a lot of fun, and I also went on the Ice Mountain Bobsled rollercoaster, which was super exciting. We also tried out the Challenge of Mondor ride, which I think is new, and it was a blast. We stopped to watch the 7-minute water show, which was cool to see while we ate some snacks. The food and snacks were really affordable, nothing was over $10, and the drinks were also reasonable, nothing over $5. They had a bunch of little gift shops, and I ended up getting a couple of souvenirs, which were way cheaper compared to other places with souvenir shops. Overall, I would definitely recommend coming here and experiencing this wonderful amusem*nt spark for yourself worth the ticket price.

Tony H — Google review

Had a wonderful time for my son’s birthday! We bought our tickets in advance and were compensated with 5 ride tickets per entry since two rides were out of commission. We usually pack lunches but decided to go rather last minute so ended up buying on site but we were pleasantly surprised at the reasonable prices!! We will be back again.

Went on opening weekend and was scared that the place would be packed. I guess we made it early enough and the threat of rain kept people away. We all had a great time.

What a enchanting surprise this cute place was. I took my order kids because the baby was turning 18, lolReally fun..cute rides, lots to see...

Candice P — Google review

I love this place and would fight to keep it open as long as possible. Robert Tofty worked hard and it's hand crafted with love . With that being said, you also can't charge guests $10 admission and $5 per ride. Going as a child when it was $2 per ride or a ride wristband was the best part. Won't be going again this year or in the future because it's ridiculous to run you $20 for 4 rides that last under 5 minute's per ride . They are pricing out low income families being in Turner that's not sustainable.

Clairissa L — Google review

Prices have gone up drastically... almost pricing out low income familiesto be able to visit :( also they have gotten rid of all there water fountains and there is no more pwnny machine. Other than that, this place gives me sooo much childhood nostalgia I will always love it. I really think water fountians for people coming with waterbottles is a must!!! Plus lots of kids it is imporant to stay hydrated.

I was really surprised by this under reported gem of a theme park. My 5 year old had a blast. There is some fun and spooky decor (not necessarily intentionally spooky) very retro storybook land but my kids still enjoyed it. There were plenty of open concession stands, prices were affordable for food and rides. Tons of parking. Lots of uphill walking but not a problem for us. Staff were on top of making sure the park wasn’t dirty almost constantly sweeping and taking out the trash.

O P — Google review

Every worker was so kind and accommodating I was there with young kids and disabled elderly everyone made us feel so welcome and were so helpful they used a go cart to transport a disabled family member around. The park is amazing for young kids especially that 5 to 10 range. I came in hopeful because it was my kids first amusem*nt park and they blew me away everyone I was with loved it.

Thomas W — Google review

Awesome amusem*nt park for a young family. Very fun and young kids themed amusem*nt park. Our 4 and 6 year old boys had an absolute blast.Admission works on a paid admission and then tickets per ride. Each ticket is $1, but any leftover tickets can be returned when you're done for the day for a refund.Rides range from 3 to 5 tickets each.Very affordable drinks, snacks, and food. Incredibly clean for such a well visited location.Super friendly staff. Here are some highlights of some of the rides; The Haunted House creeped our little guys out a bit in a good, fun way, lol. Wasn't some lame carnival style one. This was lengthy with some imagination put into it.The Bobsled was a very fun rollercoaster for the whole family. The Challenge of Mondor was a fun monster shooting ride that the kids wanted to do twice.Panning for treasure was only 1 ticket each, and participants get to take home a bag of "treasure".Highly recommend for a younger family!

Fun for the whole family. Totally recommend this place to everyone no matter the age- young or old.

Waterfalls

Silver Falls State Park is Oregon's largest state park and offers a variety of outdoor activities including camping, swimming, picnicking, cycling, and horseback riding. The main attraction is the Trail of Ten Falls Loop which is an easy 8-mile loop that leads visitors through a basalt canyon filled with thick forests teeming with ferns, mosses and wildflowers. This serene park features ten waterfalls along the dog-friendly trail, as well as campsites and cabins for overnight stays.

Amazing, probably the most popular park n hiking trails in the states. Its tons of hiking trails with different lengths from easy to hard. Well maintain n managed. You could see lots of falls n great view. You need state lark permit which could be bought online for a year or from kiosk in parking lots for $5 a day.Even weekdays they are good amount of people all around the park

Arash D — Google review

The best 9 miles I ever hiked. Covered all the trails. Bring good hiking shoes because it is quiet muddy, the trail is not at all difficult to do.I love the north water fall and the south water fall. The map is so confusing, it never tells you where you are. Better to download the hiking map to help you in forest because there is no service in that area. Park in the main parking lot.

Nidhi J — Google review

Absolutely loved this hike. I've always wanted to go behind a waterfall. I think the lower south falls was my favorite, you're behind the fall and pretty close to the water too.Ten waterfalls all in 1 hike! But give yourself a lot of time, I only managed to see 8/10 waterfalls. I think it took me about 3 hours I forget how long exactly. And definitely go early, when I got back to the car around 12:30 there were a lot of cars waiting with no parking spaces available.I went at the end of May and the waterfalls were still a wonderful sight to see, but I wonder if I went earlier in the year the water flow would be higher? Some of them didn't seem that big but I'm not sure if that's just how they normally are.All in all, a great hike, not too hard in difficulty, but long in length, I love that it's a loop trail so you don't have to turn back around at the end.Park is kept very clean, I think $5 fee to park there.

Ritelriaa S — Google review

The trail from the South entrance was absolutely beautiful. The first two waterfalls are a must-see. Make sure to take water with you if you plan to hike the entire loop, or even half of it. Be careful for loose rock and wet slippery places. There are some steps, and the trail gets fairly steep in spots, both up and down.

Tricia J — Google review

What a fabulous place for filming, hiking, walking, bird watching, nature, soaking in the forest....Awesome place. Highly recommend hiking all 10 falls it is an easy hike. Start from the South Falls and loop it clockwise, so many falls so many views. Everyone seems so happy here, no grouchy people anywhere.

Peter D — Google review

Such a cool place for a family hike! Was recommended by a friend and definitely don't regret a single second we spent here. Highly recommend going on the hike that at least takes you through the 7 falls if you are up for a 5+ mile hike. Not too strenuous either.

Christian H — Google review

On a Friday morning we decided to drive an hour from Portland and go for a “little” hike. We are non-hikers so the 2.8 mile loop was plenty of a hike for us. Easy, beautiful hike down to see the lower south falls but the switchbacks coming back up to the parking lot were brutal. We had to take several breaks. It felt good to complete the hike and we definitely would do it again though!

Kari L — Google review

I planned to stop here just to see one waterfall and a short hike... 6 hours later, I didn't want to leave. It's truly stunning y'all. For those with mobility issues, it will be a challenge to get down to the waterfalls. The paths are fairly steep but well maintained. I've never been behind a waterfall and that was the coolest. They have an awesome shop and lodge too. Even cabins for rent! Can't wait to go back.

Jennifer V — Google review

Beautiful hiking area. Trails are moderate, wide and well kept. 10 waterfalls of various sizes and length to see and experience. A few you can walk behind the water which is fun. Lots of picnic areas so bring a lunch. 3 different parking lots. The south lot is the largest.

Andee A — Google review

Very well maintained and easy to hike park. The waterfalls are breathtaking. It turned out to be a rainy and cold day, so we were limited on time but I would love to come back and do the full hike to see all ten waterfalls!

Ariana L — Google review

This is definitely a must visit! We spent 2 hours there and were able to see 7 of the 10 falls. They all were incredibly beautiful! Some of the trails do get a bit rocky so need to watch footing. There is some uphill hiking involved, but well worth it! We went in mid May in the morning/early afternoon and the weather was perfect and not too warm.

Tiffany F — Google review

What an awesome day! Checked out all 10 waterfalls and the hike was not too bad and took about 4 hrs. Make sure to wear proper shoes or bring an extra pair of socks if you wear running/cross training shoes. Gets pretty wet on the trail especially when you go behind some of the waterfalls. It was dope!

Virgilio V — Google review

This place is a hikers dream. 10 falls in a 9 mile loop is simply heaven. I visited on 07-04-22. The terrain was shaded, cool, wet and extremely fun to hike. There was a slight elevation at some parts and some stairs throughout. There were a few bridges along the trail as well. Definitely wear water shoes for the hike and keep a spare pair in the car for later. Try wearing quick dry clothes.Start by paying $5 parking fee at the kiosks.Take snacks and water.Take a hiking stick mostly for safety.Be considerate of others while taking pics. Don't hog the trail and let other pass by safely.Know your comfort level if you decide to get under the falls or in the water at all. Safety can't get to you fast enough once you are around double falls.Keep your phone charged to capture the beautiful moments.Take your time and enjoy to the fullest.

Silver Falls State Park is a stunning natural haven that will leave you in awe. What sets this park apart is its dedication to accessibility. With a multitude of well-maintained paved routes, the park ensures that everyone can enjoy its wonders. From strollers to wheelchairs, the smooth pathways make exploration easy and inclusive. The staff's warm hospitality and wealth of information further enhance the experience. With breathtaking waterfalls and diverse trails, Silver Falls State Park is a must-visit for nature enthusiasts of all abilities.

A wonderful place! There’s a lot of trails for everyone to enjoy, beautiful sights, plentiful and well-maintained bathrooms, picnic tables, and water for swimming. Was here for a family reunion and it lived up to everything we hoped. We reserved a pavilion and it had all the room we needed to prepare lunch and such. There were a lot of people on the trails, but it wasn’t overwhelmingly crowded.

Linnea B — Google review

Didn't know what to expect. First time here. As busy as it gets for a Sunday, there was still parking available. With cool temperatures during the late afternoon, the lush nature and breathtaking waterfalls set the mood for the hike. The sound and streams of the waterfalls made it a very pleasant experience. The cafe and nature store in the park is a great visit. Felt the burn on the inclines, although challenging, it was manageable. There's bike trails and some paved paths. Great viewpoints and pathways. Will definitely return for the full loop.

Albie O — Google review

I love this park as much as I love the Columbia River Gorge. You can see 10 waterfalls and some you can walk behind. Some are easy to spot from the parking areas but most waterfalls require a hike. There are stairs on the trail from South Falls to Lower South Falls so beware of that too!

Melissa J — Google review

Great place to see waterfalls, and take guests from out of town. Easy parking and there are clean bathrooms and a Cafe and gift shop. Not all trails are dog friendly but they have maps to show you which ones are. Awesome place to breathe in fresh air and explore

Danielle M — Google review

I came here with my wife to hike to as many waterfalls as we could. We ended the day with 7 overall. The weather the day we came was pretty rough, 45-50, non-stop raining and breezy. But that didn’t make the sights any less amazing. We first stopped at the South Falls which was amazing. You could walk behind the falls and feel the power of them. Next we drove to the Winter Falls hiking trail. This is a VERY small parking lot (maybe 8 spots). We did an out and back hike that took us to five waterfalls. Overall, this place was amazing. Any one waterfall could have been a pretty awesome day. See waterfall after waterfall, even better.

Jason H — Google review

I cannot describe what a wonderful experience I had here. My boyfriend and I were on a road trip to the coast and this was our first stop. We did the 10 Waterfalls hike and I was amazed during every second of it. The fact that we were able to walk behind so many of them just made me feel like I could really experience it. And all the moss everywhere was a dream. The trail is good with only 1 steep downhill and then steps to get back up or visa versa depending on how you hike it. The bathrooms were clean and even warm. They had many different kinds of buildings to explore, we didn't but you can easily spend a whole day there. 10/10 recommend to anyone who loves waterfalls.

Elisa B — Google review

Love the trail of 10 falls in spring. Waterfalls are roaring and the whole trail is lush green and not steep. Highly recommend!

Vidushi D — Google review

Amazing. Lush, fragrant, and unbound beauty. All the waterfalls are spectacular and the trails are well worn like a comfortable shoe. I would do it again in a heartbeat

Edward S — Google review

Hiking here is like a dream! You get to see such beautiful waterfalls and the trails are good for cardio and just taking in nature as you go. We got lucky to see snow and ice covered vegetation! Wear good hiking shoes when going in the winter ice can be hidden really well on some of the trails and cause you to slip.

Tabbie W — Google review

Wonderful! Less crowded than similar areas. We did the beginning of Canyon Trail from South Fall and then switched to Maple Ridge Trail. Great short hike with two big waterfalls. Will definitely bring more time when I visit again.

Jessi V — Google review

We love this forest park. Very well maintain trails, easy to hike and easy to navigate. Beautiful waterfalls. Coming here in the fall is a must in order to see the fall foliage. Lots of good foraging spots if you’re into foraging. Come after a good rain and your guaranteed to find lots of mushrooms. (Bring a field guide!) Lots of parking in the parking lot. You will have to pay for a Oregon park permit or a day pass. (EV charging available). There’s also a nice bike only trail for you bikers. You’ll drive through a little farming town with fresh eggs for sell everywhere!

Bella D — Google review

This was such a fun experience. Such a peaceful and beautiful place to visit. Plenty to do and see. You can walk as much as you want or relax. You may want to watch out for the smelly 4-legged variety! The waterfall is beautiful. Lots of history to look at. Great for a short walk or spend the whole day here.

Laurie — Google review

This place is magnificent! The south falls are a short walk from the parking and are easy to access at the viewing point. You can walk on a short trail behind the falls, but this is quite steep.

Steven B — Google review

We had such an amazing time hiking and enjoying the beautiful nature and especially their waterfalls! I can’t wait to visit them again in a few months! We started our hike around 9am and made it back after 4pm. It was a beautiful day and well worth the 6 hour drive. If you enjoy hiking, and the outdoors, this is for you.

Over 50 hand-carved animals on an antique mechanism, plus exhibits of historic carousel artefacts.

Excellent attraction! Very clean, well designed and a beautiful carousel. Good food for kids as well! Burgers are good. Each carousel is hand crafted which is incredible. Our tour guide Ray helped us out and took us into the basem*nt and showed us very antique carousel animals. We even got to see carvers in action! Here’s a tip; if you want to see people carving, Don’t go on Sundays! They don’t work on Sundays. They’re all volunteers!

My family had a wonderful time at the Carousel 🎠 The staff was friendly and courteous. The carousel was beautiful inside and out. We got 10 free ride bracelets with our party room rental. The kids loved riding all the different beautiful carousel animals and creatures. They have a little cafe with decent food and prices. They have a cute little gift shop with lots of fun stuff. They also have a guided tour downstairs of how they make the carousel animals. It was pretty cool to see how they are made. We had a wonderful experience. We will definitely be going back.

Kandie W — Google review

We had a lot of fun visiting the historic carousel in Albany. Rides were $2 and we were able to buy tokens in the gift shop. They did have a card minimum of $5, so we bought 3 rides for our daughter, who loved every ride. Bring cash if you don’t want multiple rides, but it’s so much fun picking out a different animal each time. The conductor was friendly and informative. There was plenty of free parking available as well. We spent about 45 minutes here before going to lunch in town.

I believe the price is the same or better than the Salem Riverfront one, but I don't remember for certain. It was $2/ride and the last ride of the day is free for everyone! Woo-hoo!I didn't double check, but it looks like it had at least 4 sit down booths including one with a wheelchair restraint! The prices for snacks was reasonable-ish considering how badly these places will usually set you back and there were two party rooms and plenty of seating without being grossly overcrowded like the one in Salem.I definitely like it better than Salem's!And don't forget to check these things out in the basem*nt!

Brought my family to the Carousel in Albany and was totally pleased! Well stocked retail store with a lot of history of the Albany Carousel. Very clean lobby and restrooms, friendly staff with amazing customer service. Perfect place to host birthday parties and or any type of group get together. They also offer full tours of the museum. (highly recommend) Ride tokens are 2$ each and offers a cafe near the carousel. Thank you for a great experience!!

Tim D — Google review

Not only is the carousel itself gorgeous, but the staff of volunteers truly bring its story and history to life! Visitors can take a guided tour of their museum which showcases a breathtaking collection of antique Dentzel carousel animals, and a few from other famous makers as well as visit the carving area to see the critters still being carved and finally upstairs to visit the painting area. I loved every minute of it! The gift shop is lovely, well laid out with quite a few unique carousel themed items including those specially made for the carousel itself. And the carousel - it is absolute art! So many different critters to ride, a working catch the ring machine, and an old school band machine for the music. If you love carousels this is a must do!

Jordin B — Google review

Tokens are $2 per person per ride. Was a great opportunity to get out of the sun, grab a little bit of a/c and enjoy some amazing fun. The staff were somewhat grumpy the moment something didn't go the way they said. However, safety being paramount, we still had a blast!

This is the second time we visited the Historic Carousel & Museum and once again, we had the most marvelous time! We live in Portland (OR) and made a special trip to Albany just to visit the museum again. The last time we went (about 3-4 years ago) we got to see many animals on the carousel and got to see many still being carved. This time, the carousel was even more full of gorgeous animals! Best was we got to see the ones we saw being carved years ago, installed and working on the carousel. That was a special experience in its own! This carousel and museum are truly the most beautiful examples of suburb craftsmanship! The animals on the carousel are absolutely exquisite! Each animal is incredibly intricate and unique! The animals, and its particular theme, is done is the most beautiful way. They are such a work of art! Each is absolutely stunning! In addition, riding the carousel was so much fun!! I’m a young 41 (😉) and i was with my 72 yr old mother. We so enjoyed riding round and round with the music playing and everyone smiling and having a wonderful time.. it felt like being an innocent child again.. just enjoying a fun ride and feeling happy and appreciative to get to have such an unique experience.Lastly, the staff here are SO kind! We fully enjoyed the tour and getting to see more animals being carved. The tour was very informative and made the experience even more special. Our tour guide was so friendly too! It was fascinating to learn about carousels and the history. Also the people carving were so kind! They took the time to chat with us and show us what they were doing. What wonderful people! We also REALLY appreciated the kind woman taking the tokens for the carousel. We brought our small 11lbs dog with us and not only is the carousel building pet friendly to well behaved pets but the woman taking tokens even allowed us to bring our pup on the carousel so my mother and I could ride together. Even our dog loved sitting in a gondola seat and riding round and round! The sweetest thing was that my mother got the brass ring in the ring game.. when one gets the brass ring, they get a certificate for a free ride. They usually take back the certificate when you exchange for your free ride. But, the woman heard it was my mother’s birthday and she let us keep the certificate as a memento. It may seem small to some but, it was such a kind thing for her to do and, now my mother has a special keepsake to treasure 🥰 it was the cherry on top of an incredibly lovely day! Thanks to the Historic Carousel & Museum, and all of the lovely people there, my mother had the most wonderful birthday! It was so memorable and special! We are so grateful and appreciative! We fully look forward to visiting again soon!I HIGHLY recommend you make a trip to Albany, OR to experience this for yourself! You will definitely not be disappointed and will walk away having a memorable time to treasure forever!HUGE thank you to everyone who made our visit so incredibly special 💜

What a neat experience! Community volunteers carve the whimsical carousel figures with such intricacy. Everyone was so kind, going out of their way to show us all the fun details. The museum was interesting, but even better was hearing the passion of the various docents and volunteers. Our 9-month-old was even fascinated, especially by the Wurlitzer band machine and getting to ride the carousel. Fun for the whole family!

Karen R — Google review

Lovely little museum, gift shop and operational carousel. The ice cream was wonderful and quite good. The “museum” portion of it was downstairs by elevator and led by a docent. It was very small (the “museum part” of the museum), but as a museum goer who has also worked for museums in Los Angeles, I can’t complain too much about the lackluster talk and exhibit because it was by donation and essentially free for those who did not donate. The draw is the carousel itself. It’s less of a museum and more of a carousel with historic/work-in-progress pieces on display. But still a lovely little attraction and worth a visit if you’re in town. The carousel 🎠 itself is very impressive.

Jennifer S — Google review

What a neat place. Fun place for the kids and really Interesting for those of us a little older. Be sure and take the tour to watch the wood carvers at work. It is amazing what they do. It is a first class place.

Burneall E — Google review

What a delightful experience! I remember years ago when the artists came together with an idea and ran with it, creating this amazing addition to the community we know today. I was lucky enough to witness the wood being chiseled and the paint bringing the creations to life when I was very young. Now several years later being able to experience the finish product.. very impressive. Good job to everyone who made this dream come to fruition. 🎠

On August 18, 2023 at 1:59pm my family got kicked out of The Albany Historic Carousel and Museum by a very rude and condescending woman named Peggy. She told us that they have a "one bark policy" here and told us we had to leave immediately. She was extremely demeaning and very condescending when she told us to leave with our Hearing Service Dog Mocha. We didn't argue, my fiance, whose PTSD was triggered by her rude abruptness just said, "okay" and we left. As we were waiting for our friends to show up outside in the hot sun (they live in Lebanon, Oregon and were driving to meet up with us), an elderly man who was going into the place said that it was okay for us to go inside with our Hearing Service Dog Mocha. Embarrassed, I politely told him that we couldn't go inside because my fiance's Hearing Service Dog Mocha barked one time and we were told we had to leave the premises because of their "one bark policy". He just said, "Yes, we have a one bark policy here." I have never heard of anything so asinine and ridiculous in my whole life. First of all, if they are going to have a stupid rule such as the "one bark policy", don't you think that they should at least warn you, but NO! Nothing!! No warning at all. There were absolutely no postings on the doors nor the windows. Where were the warnings for us of this "one bark policy"? We were never approached at point in time by anyone informing us of this secret "one bark policy". It would have been nice to be warned of this so-called "one bark policy" by any of the workers there or by some sort of notice stuck onto the doors or windows so we would know the potential of us getting thrown out of there if our dog barked once. Our Hearing Service Dog Mocha was not making a scene, she was not disturbing anyone, nor did she bark with anyone else around us at the time of the "crime". There's cameras mounted there as proof that no one was around us at the time of the "crime", so she did not frighten anyone near us. Our Service Dog Mocha did a single bark and just for that we were approached by Peggy and the one bark got us booted out. Mocha didn't bark incessantly or at anyone. She wasn't menacing nor was she threatening any other guests. Sometimes she barks to alert her handler of things, it is part of her job. Other times, she just barks because she is a dog. She has been a part of our family for a year and a half and is a great Hearing Service Dog. As I said, we were meeting friends there and we were standing outside in the hot sun with our Service Dog and they asked us why we weren't inside. Feeling embarrassed, we told them we got told we had to leave the premises because our dog barked one time when no one was around us. They were shocked to say the least. So, now, in my oh so humble opinion, I will never recommend this place to any of my friends to visit EVER! Most of my friends are Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing and have Hearing Service Dogs that provide a service, and if their dog happens to bark one time like ours did, they made the trip there for NOTHING!! I would not recommend this place ever to anyone who may have a Service Dog of any sort because if they bark one time, you're out! It is such a shame because it truly was a beautiful place to visit, the wonderful carousel was beautifully decorated. The place and many of the other workers were friendly and accommodating, a worker even told us that we could bring Mocha on the carousel. The woman in the gift shop was so sweet and kind as my daughter made her souvenir coin, her first one, she even checked it to see if it printed right because if it didn't she would give her one that was. The guy in the wheelchair who was cleaning a table was friendly and we chatted a bit. The others were very nice, but I am forever tainted by the awful treatment and I'd have to say that this experience leaves a horrendous bad taste in my mouth. Other than that, I would recommend this place only to people who don't have Service Animals because one little peep from your dog and I'm pretty sure that Peggy will come storm-trooping in and out you go!!

I'm visiting from Illinois and have heard a lot about this carousel from my family. So while driving from Seattle to Roseburg I decided to stop and check it out.... I'm so glad I did!!The history behind this place is amazing, and the details on everyone of the carousel animals blows my mind. Each one is hand carved and hand painted. They have information on them in the museum and there is also another room where you can see people painting the new animals. It's inexpensive to ride, and the entire place is run by volunteers.I highly recommend stopping and checking it out.One bad thing is parking around here is horrible, so take your time circling the streets to find a spot and be patient.

This place was so cool! My daughter and I had a blast riding the carousel and seeing the museum. It has a cute little gift shop and a few food items to eat at tables surrounding the carousel. The line to get on was long, but it moved quickly. You can purchase tokens in advance in the gift shop for next time too! Makes great gifts if you live in the area.

One of our favorite stops on I-5. Came up from Grants Pass for another break from life.First discovered this about 13 years ago before the carousel was assembled. They were still carving the animals. Went on the private tour and heard more history. Some of the animals take almost 10 years to complete. They have a ring game that you collect rings as you circle. Find the gold ring and free ride. Always a great experience.

So much history here! What an amazingly unique place and SO worth the visit and tour! You'll appreciate the ride so much after learning more about the carousel history and this specific and very special operation. Then spend an afternoon reading the stories behind each animal online! It's so neat! I wasn't expecting much at all and I was totally blown away. Professional, creative, unique. You won't regret a stop!

The Owen Rose Garden is a lovely park featuring stunning floral displays, picnic areas, biking and pedestrian paths, and a performance space. This serene garden also boasts the oldest cherry tree in Oregon, which dates back to the mid-1800s when it was planted by Eugene Skinner. Visitors can enjoy free access to this rose garden and take in the beautiful flowers throughout June as well as other times of year.

June was a great time of year to go there. Roses were still blooming. There is a bathroom close by and the rose garden is free to the public. Also it is home to the oldest cherry tree in Oregon, Owen Cherry Tree.It is believed this tree was planted in the mid 1800’s by Eugene Skinner, founder of the City of Eugene in 1853. The tree is within the boundaries of Skinner’s 1846 land claim.

It's not the best condition yet because it's not a time for roses, but the green lawn and the space created by colorful trees are very beautiful. It's a quiet place and a great place to take a walk with your dog, and it's a place where you can find the stability of nature by taking out coffee and sitting on a bench and drinking. It is said that roses will bloom until September in the middle of May, so I recommend that you stop by this place and have a relaxing time. In addition, I recommend you to see the old Cherry tree that is 177 years old.

One of the most beautiful places I've ever come across. If you have the chance to go walk through this garden while in bloom TAKE IT! I was astonished at the variety and reverence for the flowers and grounds. Such a special place.

Jess N — Google review

The roses are beautiful this time of year. And if we walk toward the left about 500' you may find the spot where I took the pictures of these busy ducks.

Elizabeth F — Google review

A beautiful free activity. There are many different scents and roses. Some of them are climbers and others are in bush form. You can find other flowers amongst the roses and they provide a nice contrast. We saw many folks picnicking here on a Sunday.

Erin D — Google review

The roses aren't out yet but the flowers are beautiful 😍

The Owen Rose garden was lovely what a treat. Uncle Jessie and Aunt Krissy took us in a walk through there today and it was very pleasant. A suggestion maybe some town people as volunteers should go in and weed as a group to help keep the weeds out and looking beautiful. Thanks for the Rose garden Eugene, Oregon loved it.

Manuel G — Google review

There were not many roses, but it was quiet and nice for walking. It was beautiful to see so many volunteers tending the roses.

Owen Botanical Garden is a jewel nestled in Eugene. The Owen Heritage Cherry Tree is spectacular when it is in full bloom. The variety of Roses is phenomenal, and you will be impressed by the sheer beauty of this special spot. The aromatherapy benefits while you walk the paths are a bonus. Dogs on leashes are welcome and please clean up after them. Kid-friendly outdoor space. This is a beautiful spot to have lunch and there are eating areas right next to the free parking lot. Perfect place to take wedding or prom photos.

Lisa R — Google review

No roses yet but there are some really cool leaves on the rose bushes. Also, there are lots of flowering trees. Very pretty. Too bad the freeway is so close by. Takes away from the tranquility.

Vanessa C — Google review

Amazing care and cleanliness of this park.June is one of the best months to visit; almost all the garden is fully blooming and all the flowers are opened and vibrant.Great for photography sessions. There are benches located around the park, as well as restrooms. No fee to enter or park. Many picnic areas for group reunions, proposals, wedding pics, etc.The neighborhood around is ok, some of the streets are not the best; but the park itself is beautiful, clean, great condition and safe.We didn’t find any homeless people, but the area before getting there showed that there were some.

Gabriela I — Google review

There were so many different colors and varieties of roses it was unreal! Simply beautifully kept grounds, great accessible walkways, and even though we snagged the last parking spot available it did not feel crowded in the garden as walkways were wide and people kept their distance. I did notice some sketchily parked vans/vehicles, which I assume people were living in, sprinkled about the parking lot, which made the experience feel tarnished as the homeless population in this area can be a bit aggressive and dangerous. But overall it was an amazing place to visit and I would recommend! Just make sure to lock your vehicle and keep your kids close!

Jared — Google review

What was the question? LOVE is the answer.Cherry tree in full bloom right now.

Jen J — Google review

This was a beautiful stop, we where nicely surprised with how many people where visiting so early in the morning. On the side of caution just make sure your car is locked as homeless sleeping under bench and another allowing dog to run around with no leash .

One of the best rose gardens I've ever been to. The roses are fragrant and beautiful and the layout is awesome. Nice casual walk through the gardens without a lot of people...great for pictures. And to top it off.... it's free! If you're looking for a place to go....this is a place to put on your list to check out!

Brooke W — Google review

Oh, Owen Rose Garden, you bloomed your way into my heart and made me feel like a botanical connoisseur! Now, let's dive into this bloomin' awesome review.First off, let me just say that even though not all the roses were in season, it didn't dampen my spirits one bit. This garden was a sight to behold! It was like stepping into a fragrant wonderland where colors and scents danced together in perfect harmony. I found myself surrounded by nature's artwork, and oh boy, it was a feast for the eyes and nose! Now, here's where the comedic plot twist comes in. Picture this: I'm strolling through this serene garden, feeling all zen and at peace with the world when suddenly, out of nowhere, a heated bike argument breaks out! Yep, you heard it right. Apparently, those folks on their two-wheeled contraptions couldn't agree on whose turn it was to ring the bell. Talk about a thorny situation in a rose garden! But fear not, dear readers, for even amidst the bike-fueled drama, Owens Rose Garden remained a tranquil haven. The beauty of the flowers and the gentle rustling of leaves managed to calm my soul, despite the occasional bike-induced chaos. It was like Mother Nature herself was reminding me to stop and smell the roses, while also giving me a good laugh. So, if you're in need of some floral therapy and a sprinkle of unexpected amusem*nt, Owens Rose Garden is the place to be. Just remember to keep an eye out for those drama-seeking bicyclists. Five stars? Absolutely! Owens Rose Garden, you've shown me that even in the midst of floral tranquility, life can throw in a dash of comedy. Keep blooming and keep the bike battles entertaining!

Public university

Sights & Landmarks

The University of Oregon is a public research school established in 1876, renowned for its impressive sports and education programs. The campus boasts attractive landscaping and immaculate buildings, including restrooms that are regularly sanitized to comply with COVID-19 regulations. Approximately 95% of the students appear to be modest and grounded based on first impressions. The area surrounding the university is secure and hygienic for deliveries during weekdays but bustling with life on weekends when classes are in session.

Beautiful landscaping around very clean buildings inside and out. Even the restrooms. Definitely covid-19 compliant. 95% of the kids I run across there are pretty down to earth and humble or at least seem to be by first impression. I do a lot of deliveries in that area and it's safe and clean but on the weekends during the semesters is not so much quiet but definitely alive. Helps this middle age guy I feel young.

This place has been a part of my life from beginning to end. My Dad was Premed. He and my Mom lived in the Married Student Housing on Agate St. Where I lived after I was born into this world. Over the years family and friends, acquaintances, Marlboro Men and Martians have attended this august, wet, center of learnin' and THE ARTS. After having traveled the country and sundry other back roads - Here I Am. Again. I live a block from The Pioneer Cemetery. So, Campus.

Beautiful campus, especially in the spring when the rain and the overcast skies make the colors explode with vibrancy. There are so many buildings to explore, but even if you stay outside the whole time, you won’t be disappointed.

The school has increased tuition and decreased grants. The school as removed excused absences at the same time as an Influenza A and whooping cough outbreak. You'll get classes where you teach yourself everything learning nothing. You'll have group project like the one due today where nobody in your group even reached out or worked on it but you and they get all the credit still no exceptions. The guidance councils have no clue how to help properly so you'll likely spend an extra year here.Oh they support isreal.Trash Trash Trash

I worked at the U of O today and was amazed at how big everything seemed, especially when there were hardly any people there. On the other hand i did get to see the Ducks football team as they walked by on their way to practice and even they seemed just as big as the mammoth architecture that surrounded us.

Nature preserve

Nature & Parks

The Cascades Raptor Center is a nature preserve that showcases close to 50 birds of prey in spacious outdoor enclosures. In addition, the center houses a wildlife hospital. The birds serve as ambassadors for their species and educate visitors on the importance of responsible interaction with nature. All bird exhibits are located outdoors, so visitors should plan their trip accordingly. A recommended visit time is around 2 hours and checking out the center's website beforehand can enhance the overall experience.

This place is AMAZING! My daughter and I love raptors and had wanted to check this place out for awhile~we weren't disappointed! They give birds that can't be in the wild a 2nd chance at a wonderful life!! So many gorgeous raptors: owls, eagles, hawks. It was well worth the $10 entry and I would highly recommend anyone who loves raptors to go spend a few hours here. We even got to see the tiny Saw-whet owl have a feeding with one of the caretakers/handlers! Just an overall beautiful place and I will definitely be going again.

Renee S — Google review

We joined the center for the after hours Night at the Raptor Center event. It was so fun to see the birds out and up close. The handlers are all super knowledgeable and friendly. The appetizer munchies and drinks were a nice touch as well. Definitely worth the event!

Erica — Google review

We had a great time learning about the Birds of Prey housed at the Cascades Raptor Center. Since they are unable to be reintroduced to their wild habits these birds spend their day being ambassadors to their species and teaching the public about the importance of protecting and interacting appropriately with the natural world. As you would expect, all the bird exhibits are outside so you'll want to plan your trip accordingly. In my opinion 2 hours was plenty of time to see everything. For a better experience consider checking out their website before you go!

Rebecca — Google review

You know when you go to a zoo or something and you look into an enclosure and you can’t see an animal? Just a dark, depressing cage?Well, this place is not like that.Granted, it was a weekday, the weather was clear and cool, and there were no crowds. But this place is special. The birds are so healthy, so chill, and well cared for.You learn a lot , too. Not only do the displays have great info about the species, but there are separate signs that tell the story about the individual birds you are watching. And these birds watch you right back. No odd behaviors, no cowering in dark corners .Obviously this rescue and education center is doing many things right.

Son and I had an amazing time. We actually spent about 3 hours there. They had 35 active aviaries on this day. The program is a must. Our celebrity for the 11:30 program was Dmitri the Eurasian Eagle Owl. We will definitely return!

James M — Google review

A great activity to do during covid times. We were able to walk around outside in the fresh air and see amazing raptors up close that we may not otherwise get to experience. All of the animals were very comfortable in their environments and well taken care of. Clean trails and not too busy. Fun for the whole family.

Jamie L — Google review

Amazing place to see amazing birds of prey! Some were very active when we visited. You may be able to watch a trainer feed or watch resident education raptors in action. Such great work this hospital and rehab does!

Elva D — Google review

You get a map after you first buy tickets, and walk around see each kind of large bird. Kid friendly, and you get free water.

Wyatt D — Google review

Wow awesome place to see a great group of raptors. Each one has a good enclosure with a quick blurb about their history (along with the typical species information placard). Staff is friendly and informed. Worth the visit (can be a quick 45 min trip if you want, or extend it out for an enjoyable two hour visit).

Sage S — Google review

All I can say is “WOW”!! I went with my sister in law, her 3 kids (ages 1.5 -9) and my wife. The kids had a BLAST! Even the youngest was completely entertained the whole self guided tour. The staff was wonderful and so excited for the kiddos to be there! Our absolute favorite part was that all of the owls had a toy ball that they were holding as they slept, it was the cutest thing we’ve seen! On top of that, 3 resident bald eagles is not something you want to miss!I’m personally a raptor enthusiast with falconry experience and I was so impressed by the standard of care for these amazing birds! Their enclosures are more than appropriate sizing, clean and they have enrichment inside their enclosure as well as an area for their handlers to take them for further enrichment. We will be back for sure!* It is an outdoor tour, dress appropriately for the weather & be prepared for your toes to be cold! Parking is a bit limited so I would make sure to plan to potentially walk a bit!

Chelsea W — Google review

This was a great experience. It's very educational and just cool to see the birds so close. Great information from a conversation with Jennifer, one of the staff. Very kind. Can't wait to go back.

Matt D — Google review

Loved this place! We visited on a Saturday morning. No lines but parking lot was almost full when we arrived. No big crowds. We enjoyed the staff who were very friendly and welcoming. Great enclosures with access to see each bird. Each bird has a sign giving that bird’s history. Very enjoyable experience. The air was a fragrant forest. Nice and peaceful, quiet. Located in the forest. Highly recommend. Great for kids and adults alike. Cool gift shop.

Kristi G — Google review

This place is pretty amazing! Such a wide variety of raptors, including several types of owls, kestrels, falcons, vultures, hawks and eagles. The Bald Eagles are worth the visit just to see them up close, but I think my favorite is the Barn Owl which came from Junction City. Very educational, and a great experience for people of all ages. Walk through at your own pace, and walk around the different areas as many times as you want.

Corinna L — Google review

This is a wonderful raptor sanctuary! A Must See when in the area, totally worth the drive. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. A great stop with interesting things to learn about.

C L — Google review

Amazing experience learning about and visiting a variety of birds most people wouldn't have the opportunity to interact with. Staff were very helpful answering questions. The birds get super excited and animated when trainers visit with treats. Great visit.

TM R — Google review

I went there i spent about two hours walking around and checking out the birds and learning a lot from the information panels. The staff are super friendly and can answer questions. it is really neat to see them training the birds! You never guess how big a Bald Eagle is until you see them up close. They are huge!It is a great way to spend some quality time with your family and friends. Super great for schools to take students to.

Awesome day at the cascades raptor center, staff were very friendly and welcoming. Hans (eagle owl) did a fantastic training session that we got to witness with the chance of taking some up close photos of him flying. An inactive volcano, Mount Shasta is the fifth-highest mountain in the Golden State. 14,179 feet tall it dominates the landscape of this area of Northern California. I'm from North Carolina, which boasts the tallest mountain east of the Mississippi (Mount Mitchell, 6684 feet).Allegedly, the volcano was last active in 1250 AD. No Yelp then to prove it one way or the other. There is a fabulous vista point not far away on I-5. I'd love to catch it at sunrise but alas, I'm heading south this afternoon and can't stay to get closer to Mount Shasta. Instead, I'll just have to be satisfied with the great views of the mountain from the highway.

This is an absolutely magical place to experience. At the ascend I was tingling with anticipation. Once we arrived at the Old Ski Bowl Trailhead and seeing various individuals meditating and absorbing the mountains' energy, I knew I was not the only one who felt this.

Janna K — Google review

The fifth tallest mountain in California and the second highest in the Cascades, second only to Ranier. But what really separates Mt Shasta from the rest of the mountains is literally its separation. The isolation, prominance, and grade make this a remarkable mountain that rises from the local 4,000-14,179.Any angle you try to climb will be challenging, with slopes that are often 40-45 degrees, covered in scree and talus. But the views from the top of such an isolated mountain are worth it.

Maya H — Google review

Very spiritual place to climb. I highly recommend that Read Julius Evola’s “Meditations on the Peaks: Mountain Climbing as Metaphor for the Spiritual Quest” before you visit. You know as Evola said“Considering that today the mountain has been physically conquered and that there are few peaks that man has not yet reached, it is important to keep the conquest from being debased and from losing its higher meaning. Thus, it is necessary that the younger generations gradually come to appreciate action at the level of ritual and that they slowly succeed in finding again a transcendent reference point. It is through this reference point that the feats of audacity, risk, and conquest as well as the disciplines of the body, the senses, and the will that are practiced in the immovable, great, and symbolic mountain peaks, lead men to the realization that all in man is beyond himself. In this way these feats will be justified in the context of the spiritual revolutionary movement that is currently emerging among our people.”

Scenic park with Mount Shasta views, a river for swimming & fishing, campsites & 28 miles of trails.

Been driving by here my whole life, and finally stopped. It was worth the drive in, and the short hike to see the crags. Be courteous on the one lane road, and notice how it seems wider on the way out (haha).

We had a great hard trail hike up to Cathedral Crags. 4 hours and pretty much all up hill. Last mile up is very difficult. Great views up there!

Richard K — Google review

We came here on a Saturday morning in early May and did the castle dome trail. It was excellent hiking and the views were incredible at the top. We saw a baby rattlesnake towards the top as well. Trail would definitely be more challenging based on difficulty in footing and the steep hike to the top, but worth it. Bring plenty of water, sunglasses, hat, and sunscreen. Prepare yourself to wear good shoes and know how to stop blisters by wearing two sock layers or other methods.

Nice place pretty clean the restrooms could use some maintenance beautiful area lot of hiking trails beautiful Vista from the top of the Vista mount definitely worth the hike even with wheelchairs your camping by the freeway so it is a little noisy at night and the train runs two or three times as well but all in all that's a great place to camp for a couple days I got a really cool Creek slash River right by the kiosk nice place to hang out for the day have fun

Larry H — Google review

The granite spires are nice, the Forrest and the campgrounds are a shining example of the absolute neglect, mismanagement and over regulation in our California forests. The amount of dead and dying undercanopy, downed trees and skinny toothpick ladder fuels is more than pathetic, it’s disgusting. How is this a place we can be proud of? A State Park even. The entire place needs aggressively thinned followed by a prescribed burn. The campgrounds especially. They’re to the point of being terrifyingly dangerous. During a windy night I heard two massive trees fall, and tons of branches snap. In the morning, the roads were littered with debris. That’s not a natural forest, it’s a neglected one. I’m sure they’ll have no problem thinning the forest around there just before an uncontrollable fire rolls through. Taking away valuable and scarce resources from controlling the fire to save an area that wouldn’t have been necessary with a little preventative maintenance. Absolutely pathetic.

C S — Google review

Beautiful visit.Only one short trail that is dog-friendly (the rest are not). Also, there is one narrow road going up, so don't take your pavement princess with the massive hips.

Saw the Crags on the way to a different hike, which ended up being inaccessible due to snow, so we turned around and did this one. GET THERE EARLY! We had to park at the bottom, and hiked up Bob’s Hat trail to meet the Crag Trail. This adds two miles to the trip and another 750’ to the hike over all. It’s not that bad as it is mostly an old service road. I do recommend All Trails or some sort of map to make sure to make the right turns, but it is marked so don’t worry if you do not.The hike is an amazing trail, and I would not say it is hard, but challenging. The last mile and a half is rocky and larger step up but we did meet an amazing family from Texas who was carrying their baby in a Bjorn. Glad to see folks getting the little ones out early!Overall, what a great day! There is so much to explore up here and the views are breathtaking. Enjoy!

We got lucky and got a tent campsite right next to the river and privacy, it was beautiful. All the sites are a little close together so, mind your own. The sites had a table, fire pit and a lock box to store food or ect from wild life. The restrooms, trash cans and recycling bins were in a convenient yet safe distance from the campsite. The showers and restrooms were very clean and most of the crew members were very pleasant and welcoming. The trails are pretty moderate for hiking. Beware there is poison oak in a lot of places. Overall the park was definitely a nice weekend getaway. We'll definitely return to this area.

Beautiful, Woodsy camping ground. We hiked up to the Vista point area, it was a steep climb about a 2 miles up that wraps around. Nice park staff, very helpful. They let us know there are bears at the park and when they usually come.I would give it more stars but the bathrooms and showers were very dirty and need to be remodeled, and we camped at site #13 because of the secluded corner section but I could not sleep all night due to the closeness of the 5 frwy..All I could hear was the fast freeway traffic at night.. I felt like I was going to be hit by a car, lol.My recommendation would be camp in the upper areas of the campground ( upper area was closed on our weekend, not sure why)Also Dunsmuir is such a cute town very close by, go check it out as well. We were there for the memorial long weekend.Had an Awesomeee time!!! Great experiences…First day it was raining and we thought how could we camp if its raining?? But luckily it stopped. They had campfire program in the evening where they introduced some of the wildlife(Raven, Turtle, Turtoise and O’Possum) kids were so excited!!Second day we went the castle crags dome trail(4.3 miles) hike. It was a difficult and a bit struggle but wow what a great place on top!! Once on the top, never really wanna go down.Mount Shasta looks so fantanstic and amazing from there its like looking straight into the eye of a lover😍.Take a lot of water and a lot of determination because it is just 4 miles but really takes courage to make it to the top if you are not a pro hiker.

Prabesh P — Google review

Words really can't explain this place. It is one of the most incredible views Northern California has to offer! To see the peak of these ancient volcanic monuments with Mt. Shasta on the horizon is truly breathtaking...

Justin B — Google review

Well worth the $8 entrance fee! There are beautiful views of the craggy mountains from the Vista Point, which you can drive up to. We loved the Flume/PCH hike - lots of picturesque creeks to cross, and very varied forest terrain to walk through.

Anna L — Google review

It's not a good idea to hike when the temperature is over 100 degrees. The dome resembles a smaller version of Half Dome. While you can venture around the large rock to some extent, there are no official trails beyond the "trail end" sign. The Indian Spring located halfway is a lifesaver if you run out of water. The view of Mt. Shasta alongside the dome is truly breathtaking.

Stalactite- & stalagmite-filled caves accessed by tours that include a boat ride on a scenic lake.

A fun experience that includes a boat ride and a bus ride to the caverns. There will be stairs! Quite a few of them actually and you'll be walking up hill for a good chunk, just FYI.

Luz R — Google review

Love, the cavern caves!!!! It's such a great experience!! 👍 Here are just a couple of notes; Buy your tickets the same day. Arrive 30mins prior to start time. Purchase your ticket at the gift shop. Then you walk about half a mile down the hill. To the river. You catch the ferry. To get across the lake. After, you get on a bus that takes you up the hill. To the Cavern caves. Pinkie was our tour guy. He was very informative and very patient. With 5 crazy girls on his ferry and trip.

Rosie M — Google review

This is the time to go. Don’t put it off any longer! We’re local so We waited till Shasta Lake was full before we went and boy are we glad we did. We didn’t have to walk the half mile to the boat - just down the steps outside the gift office and down just a little where we boarded the boat. Awesome 10 minute boat ride across the beautiful Lake Shasta in all her glory. Then boarded the bus up to the caverns. Even that was fun. We had a great tour guide, Melanie who was informative and you can tell she loves her job!Inside the cave was something I don’t get to see. Another world. A little slippery but good sturdy shoes helps.A lot of steps! Coming off knee replacement it held but wow what a workout and I was lagging behind from the 80 steps till the end.We saw bats who were sleeping! All in all a most enjoyable trip. Now sometime in July, we’re planning to go on the Dinner Cruise.

Debby — Google review

Our tour guide Ashley was awesome! She has and shared an abundance of knowledge about the caverns. She made it fun for everyone on the tour. Her personality and experiences in the caverns gives Ashley a unique insight that makes the tour feel as if the experiences were your own.Tipping is a thing and I encourage visitors to tip your tour guide at least. Our visit started with a ten minute boat ride across Lake Shasta. Our Captain Donna was fun to talk to.Then we were bussed between 800 & 1000 feet above the lake on the mountainside to the cavern entrance. The bus driver shared a bit of history and lore along the route.Tours leave every half hour. The gift shop has cold drinks, shirts hats and treasures. The staff is very friendly and fun to talk to when they aren't busy.No backpacks allowed, water bottles okay.Great place to visit!

Larry T — Google review

Great little tour. Nice cave. Great staff. BUT do not plan this activity if you can’t climb stairs. The stairs are very steep and numerous. Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone with breathing issues, back or knee issues.

Nancy E — Google review

Great tour, and it's definitely worth a stop! Friendly and knowledgeable staff and guides. Boat ride over to the caverns was awesome, and on a nicer weather day, I could see it being really cool for spotting wildlife, etc. Bring warm hats and rain gear because if it's raining, there's a good chance you'll get wet. Caverns were spectacular! There's lots of great formations and picture worthy spots. On a side note, if traveling to the caverns via truck and travel trailer, the road to the tour site is narrow and windy, but we made it easily with our 30-foot trailer, and there was space to park.

Didi C — Google review

Totally worth the visit! Get ready to climb lots of stairs. The visit begins with a boat ride, then bus all the way to the caverns, and then the climbing begins. Our tour guide was super informative and funny. A must for the whole family when visiting the area. I recommend packing a lunch since there is nice picnic tables available as you arrive.

Sandra D — Google review

Tourist attraction. The caverns are pretty amazing! The boat ride then bus ride up the hill is adventurous. The guides that work there are very friendly and knowledgeable! You definitely need reservations to get on their schedule though. It gets pretty busy

Manish S — Google review

If you're looking for something adventurous, educational and exciting to do at Shasta Lake, this is it!It starts with a scenic boat ride across the lake where you are guided to a bus that drives 8 miles up the side of a mountain to the caverns. Be ready to get your steps in. There is a lot of stair climbing involved but it is totally worth it. every step. I felt like Indiana Jones exploring a lost cave !They have really great tour guides and the caverns are super cool with a lot of really great history. Everybody from the boat staff, to the bus drivers, to the tour guides are very customer service oriented and helpful. There are some very cool things and really good deals in the gift shop. I recommend checking it out after you return from the caverns. We will definitely go again!

Rich J — Google review

We got rained out during the tour but the views on the boat ride and up the hill at the cave entrance and exit were phenomenal! Our skillful tour guide, Tim, was also the boat and bus driver and was good at answering our questions. The caves were extraordinary and worth more than we paid. 11/10 would recommend and do again.

Z's A — Google review

Fun experience, nice your guides, for smaller group reservations, call them and ask for availability so that advance registration might not be needed.

Jallepalli D — Google review

A beautiful day for traversing Lake Shasta and exploring the spectacular caverns. Every staff member we encountered was knowledgeable and friendly. From check in to the gift shop to the two bus rides, the boat ride and the actual tour, it was remarkable and delightful. If you want a full tour with guide we recommend you avoid holiday weekends. We will definitely be back!

Katharine M — Google review

Last tour is at 4p. They run every half hour. It was $40 for an adult.Free parking. Some food in the gift store. You take a 10min boat to the actual cavern. Views are beautiful on the lake. Tour was about 45 minutes. A lot of walking. A lot of stairs. Weir good shoes. Tour guide was funny and informative.

Miguel J — Google review

Great tour that starts off with a boat ride to the other side of the lake, then a bus ride up the hill. Once you enter the cave, there are a lot of steps and narrow hallways, but it's very cool to experience the natural beauty of the caves. The tour staff were informative and friendly.

G T — Google review

The entire adventure was fantastic. Roy our tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Allen or bus driver was excellent as well! Everyone was wondering. The cavers were beautiful. Highly recommend.

Mary B — Google review

Amazing place for visiting with the cave!Check in 15 mins before the appointment at the balcony next to the side gate of the visitor center, and then walk along the stairs down to the lake side for boarding. Match your number on the cover of the booklet with the bus to reach the top of the mountain. Another tourist guide will lead you to inside of the cave. It takes about an hour for cave visit. Nice view of the lake!

Angel H — Google review

Prepare for a lot of walking and climbing stairs. It's a great tour and our tour guide was great. There's lots to look at, so don't forget your camera.

Fergie F — Google review

Amazing and very friendly crew! The cave tour was mind blowing, very beautiful rock formations. We had a tough time in the rain, be prepared to get soaked and cold even with raincoats. Ponchos might be a better help. Worth the trip though! Lots of stairs and walking, but nothing too intense.

Chelsea D — Google review

We loved our experience! My dad is a stroke survivor, has limited strength and walks with a cane. We called ahead to ask details about the amount of walking and stairs involved in the tour. This is definatly not for the weak. We were given good detail about the stairs in the tour but not the amount of stairs and walking required to access the boat. It is a five minute walk depending on the level of the lake. And the decline to the lake is significant! My dad was determined and we took our time. Our tour guide Nichole was very kind and gracious. The experience was well worth the extra effort. But I would encourage you to know your limits.

Jeina S — Google review

The trip started with a fairy boat crossing the reservoir with the guide giving information on the changing water levels. This tour is not wheelchair friendly as it requires climbing steep steps. Lots of walking required but definitely worth it to see these great formations. The tour guides are very informative and answered all of our questions. Would highly recommend stopping by to visit if you are up in Shasta

Amber E — Google review

Located amidist lake Shasta, its a natural beauty of rock formations. The tour takes approximately 2 hours including boat travel and bus to caves. The crew and guide were very friendly. Steps inside the caves are quite narrow and slippery so be cautious. The rock formations are incredibly beautiful and amazing. Worth every penny.

Mahima P — Google review

This was my second time at the caverns. Really great value, especially if you'd never seen anything like this before. The rock formations are incredible and you get to look at them for about an hour and a half. Now I'd like to mention that if your tour guide is Joe, you're in for a treat! The man has an amazing ability to present facts and history about the caverns in a way that will really catch your interest. All in all, I highly recommend going on a tour.

Hiking area

The Sundial Bridge is an iconic pedestrian overpass that spans the Sacramento River and resembles a cruise ship on land. Designed by famous Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava in 2004, the bridge's glass deck offers spectacular views of the river and its surroundings. Lit up at night, the bridge's glass path provides an enchanting experience for visitors who enjoy peaceful walks in nature.

I loved this place! This is a nice place for peaceful walks surrounded by nature. The people is really polite and friendly in the Sundial Bridge shop and coffee as well. I was impressed about how much they are encouraging awareness 'avoiding fires in the forests.' Well done! Taking care of our planet is extremely important.

AnaLydia — Google review

We had a really great time at the Sundial Bridge. Walking on the river walk, the Turtle Bay Museum and checking out the bridge which is very cool. The Sacramento River has great trails with wildlife all around. The trail near the bridge includes a beautiful garden with educational stops for everyone. The Turtle Bay Museum and it's grounds were fun for all of us, including my fifteen year old daughter. She interacted with birds in the Parrot House and butterflies, and zipped on the zip-line in the playground.I'm sure her favorite part was the butterflies though, as we spent well over an hour in the butterfly house. In the museum there was a hand on educational room that has really fun activities about prehistoric flying reptiles, Pterosaurs.A whole room displaying replicas of the items discovered in King Tutankhamun.Pretty fascinating. There is a cafe that is currently being remodeled but Mosaic Restaurant was open.If you are unfamiliar with reading it's very hot in the summer months and stays pretty warm until October. I recommend sunblock and if your heat sensitive the indoor part of the museum and Mosaic restaurants during the summer.Otherwise visit early or in the evening I know they open at 9:00 a.m. the bridge and trails are always open but not all of the grounds.

Larry T — Google review

Beautiful FREE nature and artsy area, connects with a separate parking area on the other side of the botanical garden that closes earlier, so if you want to stay later this is the side to go in at. I am here in the winter, & the sun went down early so I was able to get some nighttime shots. The restrooms are clean, the park was well-kept except I really wish the botanical garden had better signage, many plants had zero signs telling you what they are.

My E — Google review

Pretty interesting stop on the way home. It’s been a place my wife has been wanting to see. But now that we have seen the bridge we may want to stop back by to check our the other places like the Turtle Bay Exploration Museum. There was plenty of parking and also changing stations.

Jason ( — Google review

Well, Gladys kept suggesting we visit this bridge, so we did. It was pretty cool, but we didn't realize it was part of the Turtle Bay attraction. The theme park has an admission price, but the bridge itself didn't. It's not transparent glass as we thought but still worth the visit. 😁

Seila — Google review

Gardens, trails, museum, oh my!! Fantastic place for a romantic afternoon or a blast with this kids. It's amazing walking on the bridge of glass. Stop and take in the river view halfway.

This place is RAD!!!! very interesting to see a giant sundial and to learn some of the history behind it. Plus a big botanical garden to walk through. I recommend stopping for a few and checking out out. And the scenery, trees and river and so much more......

The Glow Show at turtle Bay was lots of fun and unique. Fun for everyone. Food is available from Mosaic restaurant mobile units and hit the spot and beverages are available too. This made for a very pleasant walk in the evening. Children were really enjoying themselves and lots of photo ops are scattered throughout the 10 acre display.

Visited the city over a weekend. Beautiful view of the Redding sunset! Very clean and calm environment. The electric scooters were all dead or on low battery according to the app, so that was kinda of a bummer. Overall though it’s a cool spot :)

Raquel C — Google review

It's a great looking bridge in Redding, CA. Crosses the Sacramento river. It is a sundial bridge that gives time based on the sun position throughout the day. River is amazing matches well with the floor of the bride. Water is cold, but it definitely keeps you cool in these hot summer days.

Man-E C — Google review

We have visited Sundial bridge during our Shasta trip. This bridge is built over Sacramento river. Its a beautiful bridge. You can also go for little hike. I have seen locals hiking. Near by there is Turtle Bay exploration center if you want you can visit that place too.

Krishna B — Google review

Simply beautiful. Have fun with kids. Night time experience is great. Quite, light and sound of the lake water is so relaxing❤️

MD M — Google review

I love taking evening strolls here, especially during sunset time. In the summer that is really the best time to walk my dog since the pavement can get too hot during the day. But the evening time is beautiful to see the sunsets over the water. The lights at the bridge are beautiful as well. There are many different paths to take that keeps my walking route interesting. There are usually people along these paths, especially on the bridge taking picture or in the area down below the bridge. The area down below next to the river is super cool, and helps to cool you down on hot days. I have encountered snakes on the path when it starts to get dark, so be careful and aware, especially with pets.

Deanna F — Google review

Beautiful scenery surrounding this incredible landmark. The scenes were elevated by the sun and warmth with the tips of the surrounding mountain range covered in snow! If just for a moment to breathe and enjoy being out and about, this is a must on anyone's Redding list when in the area! Let alone the incredible engineering of the bridge itself!

Jack R — Google review

Had a quick minute on a recent business trip to stop and check out the Sundial Bridge. Nicely done! Lots of walkers, bikers, and school field trippers enjoying the area. Looking forward to returning and doing more exploration. 😀

Jim J — Google review

Great peaceful place 🙏 a big thanks to all the wonderful workers who make this place so clean and secure, it is really hard to find a clean place to have family time here in California. Homelessness is taking over in a lot of great outdoor places, so to see that you guys make sure is safe for families to come and enjoy is just highly appreciated 👏 keep up the good work, and I will be back to relax and enjoy the clean river and side big thanks!

Luis M — Google review

Beautiful and unique location. The light show is very entertaining. The displays are beautiful. A must see if you are near. Great way to close out the evening solo, with family or friends.

Shellaine C — Google review

This was way more cool than I expected! Photos cannot do the sundial Bridge it's true justice. A local showed us a cool trick, if you out your ear against the sundial cords and hit the cord with something hard, the sound travels up the line and back! Very neat!

Cheyenne M — Google review

Very nice place to take a break and enjoy the day. Beautiful Bridge over the Sacramento River and a Museum and Bistro is also located there at one end. Lot's of walking trails 👣 Great Place..👍👍👍👍👍

The sundial bridge is an amazing experience. It's the best place to visit the best place for a walk. It's always the perfect temperature. And I would highly recommend going. It's never too busy and the sights are amazing there's always ducks underneath. It's a great family visit. I'm totally going again 😌🥪

Stephen C — Google review

Looks like a quite fancy bridge with the glass floor. You may feel the cold water and a different view of the bridge by the river beach. There are some trails for walking in this park. The museum is next to the bridge entrance.

Angel H — Google review

1st time here just passing through town on a road trip but weather was nice enough for a stop. Easy parking & walked from the turtle bay river trail. Weekday afternoon & not crowded at all. Beautiful bridge for walking across. There was fishing boats under & looks like they were definitely having good luck catching. Blue skies with gorgeous clouds but overcast enough where I wasn’t able to see the actual sundial time. Very impressive bridge.

Rosanna M — Google review

I would recommend going at night...But only if you can afford the somewhat steep $20 ( with a $5 discount for Turtle Bay Members) admission fee to the Glowing Wild event.According to the flyer,"Experience Glowing Wild Lantern Festival for the first time at the Sundial Bridge at Turtle Bay Exploration park, featuring 10 acres of botanical gardens filled with larger-than-life Asian lantern displays inspired by wildlife and plants from around the world, great for all ages."Although pretty amazing and colorful during the day...Apparently at night everything is lit up, hence the Glowing in the name. And about the only animal NOT on display was the raccoon...

Katrina N — Google review

Interesting feature was a pleasant surprise in Redding. Nice walk across the bridge and Interesting features. Didn't know the tall spire is actually a sundial. Full park was closed when we arrived, but it was nice to view what we saw. Nice side visit 😁👍

The Sundial Bridge in Redding, California, is an architectural marvel and a serene escape. Its stunning design, combining functionality and aesthetics, offers a unique experience. The translucent walkway and the breathtaking view of the Sacramento River make it a perfect spot for a peaceful stroll or a memorable sunset. Surrounded by natural beauty, this bridge is a must-see attraction, a testament to human creativity and ingenuity.

Had a blast. Very good spot to visit to see all the lights, and I would definitely suggest it for everyone of all ages even. The staff were very friendly and went to the botanical gardens show of lights, and it was definitely an experience I will remember for all of my life. I had so much fun. I think I'm gonna have to do it again this year, and hopefully, there will be many more to come.

Turtle Bay Exploration Park is a large natural history park that offers visitors a range of attractions, including a museum, botanical garden, and forest camp. While the museum may be on the smaller side and can typically be explored within an hour, the vast park requires several hours to fully explore. The playgrounds are great for children and feature zip lining activities. One of the highlights is feeding the lively parrots or lorekeets.

Amazing park and museum to spend few hours. Museum is quite small and can be done within an hour. The park is huge and takes couple of hours. The playgrounds are good for kids with zip lining and all. Lorekeets /parrots feeding is a blast and definitely do that

Chandra M — Google review

Edited: Nice place for kids to learn new things and explore...Some things didn't seem correctly priced ... $3 for a stick to attract the butterflies... I saw better butterflies outside in the wild! We barely saw 10 simple butterflies that day... maybe it was the heat, it was 110°... Other people's reviews and pictures are 100x nicer than our experience. While it was so warm kids didn't want to play in the park. I'm sure they would have loved it if the heat wasn't as scorching. The parrots seemed more worth the money... it was $2 for a nectar cup and parrots came straight to you when you get those cups. The Tutankhamun exhibition was nice... it was scary for the little one though (3 year old, got scared of the animal figures) but the teenager loved it all.

Lamia K — Google review

Love this place. Half price Thursday $5 kids $10 adultsThe birds the butterflies the sundial Bridge all a blast and there was so much more to see

Christopher M — Google review

I let my assumption of it using the word turtle…that I would see more then 2.Is this a cool thing to do with kids, yes.Should you spend 4 hours here for your moneys worth, yes.The cost is around the same amount I would pay for a zoo with 2x the animals. So I do think the price is a bit stiff. The building itself didn’t have much animal wise to see. Thus assuming that’s the museum part? But it’s called Exploration park? Which the park (play grounds) is attached to the museum an only accessible via museum tickets. So it shouldn’t show up as a separate google maps pin an parents assume it’s just a park to go to.That being said. The staff were all wonderful. The animal show was cool. We loved that they walked the animals close by. Highly recommend if your child can sit for 35 mins an not move nor eat.Bathrooms, ✔️There are two play areas an unfortunately people do not know how to read signs. There was a family with larger teens throwing water bottles an jumping in the toddler baby section with their parents. Leaving the area unfortunately unsafe to let the little kids explore safety. There needs to either be a larger more obvious sign or a staff member. The parrot feeding was super cool. Respect the staff an what they say. If you know your kids can’t handle direction don’t set them up for failure an walk them inside. The map they give makes it seem like it’s massive an large when it’s really small an the font is hard to read. We missed tons due to time an unsure of where to go.

J R — Google review

Very cool museum. Fun for both kids and adults. The outdoor playgrounds were so creative and a blast for my kiddos. Feeding the birds was my favorite part!

Laura K — Google review

Took the Family to Turtle Bay Museum for the tree house exhibit. It was so much fun and so many activities to do. My kiddo made a binary bracelet with his initials, chalk art, dressed up in scientist and engineers clothing and got to play in the tree house. The marine exhibit and art gallery exhibit was amazing to view. Our favorite activity is to vote for what to see for future displays. After, we like to go walking to the nursery.

D L — Google review

It was a hot day, most of the animals were panting. Maybe set up a mister for them. Anyways, it was our 1st time being here. We loved everything about it

Iris H — Google review

Calling this lovely place a park is an understatement. It is more like an amusem*nt park: a zoo, a museum, several hiking trails, a botanic garden (closed) as well as adventure-style playgrounds. A great place to learn and play with kids. This place is full of love and support from the community.

Chih-Ping W — Google review

An excellent spot for families, ideally children. The inside of the museum is focused on local history, such as the Wintu, Redding in the 20's, local biodiversity, etc. There's a dedicated hands-on section in the back that's good for young kids. The backside of the museum is the actual park and quite expansive. There's a sizeable playground for families and an area to interact with exotic and local birds.Further down is a trail that extends for a mile or so and you can check out small caged areas for hawks or the bobcat.Definitely an easy way to spend 90 minutes to get an idea of the area. It's also common to find stray cats nearby as the locals pointed out that there's a gentleman who tends to them.

B. L — Google review

Took family on the $2 day entrance...TRAINS. Seven of us!!Loved seeing the animals....even the squirrels were very friendly.Lots of stuff for us all to enjoy inside and out. Kind staff.

We stopped here as a pitstop on a road trip. Mainly we went to see the parrot house, and we weren't disappointed! Within a few minutes a parrot landed on my son's head... Which was adorable and left him very happy. The play structure and water play area was entertaining as well! Really cool place to take a walk/bike ride over the bridge!

Turtle Bay Exploration Park left me thoroughly impressed with the unique blend of outdoor exploration and educational opportunities it provides. The park's picturesque setting along the Sacramento River offers a peaceful escape into nature. I loveeee this place ❤️. I used to go all the time as a kid. I haven't been in around 5 years, so I decided to go today. It was the best decision ever they have all sorts of animals, and the year-long membership is affordable. They had amazing exhibits. A whole bunch of stuff for kids to have fun. I went in the morning on a weekday, so they were really empty, but on the weekends, they are really super busy. I hear so be warned ⚠️ lol.i am totally going agian . The best part were the service staff they are all super nice and there for you 😀 😌🥪

It was a very rainy day as I stopped by the museum tovisit the aquarium and thelocal history exhibits. The museum has a niceexhibit on the Wintu tribethat has lived in the areafor over thousand years. You will find an exhibitson the building of theSundial Bridge, an aquarium with beaver and fish, aurban watershed river lab,and local history. It was raining too hard tovisit the other parts of thepark including a botanicalgarden, arboretum, anda forest camp with a parrot house.I did stop at the bistro forlunch and had a nice AsianChicken Salad.Located on Sundial BridgeDrive along the SacramentoRiver next to the SundialBridge.A nice place to spend a daywith a nice museum, bistro, botanical garden, a old timeforest camp with animals, and much more.

Me & my family had a nice time here. We got to catch the animal show, which was really cute! The butterfly exhibit had a good amount of different healthy butterflies. They have a nice kids playground. My daughter really enjoyed the Zipline 🙂 We didn't get to see the gardens (it was hot🥵) but we'll definitely check it out next time!

Bodies of Water

This lake in Lassen Volcanic National Park offers non-motorized boating & trout fishing.

Beautiful place in the winter! They have a parking lot right next to the visitors center which is about a mile up from the entrance to the park coming off 44. There were a few places to park on the side of the road, but there may be more when the snow is not piled up on the side. I have been here before and been able to walk on the lake when it is frozen, but do not do that unless it is verified it is safe! There were warning signs out saying thin ice. If you walk past the visitors center you cross a small bridge over the river which is a very beautiful spot to take a picture. Straight forward from the bridge is a small area where you can sled down a small hill in the snow so bring your saucers/ sleds in the winter time. Also from that hill you get a beautiful virw of Lassen co ered in snow. Close to the entrance you can pull to the side and get a good view of Lassen behind the lake

Great little like in lassen state park. They have a museum, store, gas station and cabins for camping. The lake has a small launch area for non motorized boats only. They rent kayaks also. The lake has trout for fishing but it is only catch and release. Also there is a fair amount of room for parking. Enjoy. Pack it in, pack it out, trash that is.

Beautiful lake trail. Take your time and appreciate the beauty.Serene and tranquil, you will only hear some birds and some distant waterfalls.Beautiful views of distant peaks. All snow covered even in late June. (Looks like they didn’t get the memo that summer started)Many opportunities for photography, especially landscape and macro. There were some people kayaking.Overall, a wonderful walk to remember.

Vipin P — Google review

The whole area is beautiful. Was there at the end of June and it was chilly in the 50’s. Park was clean, campground looked nice. Saw chipmunks. Trees everywhere and are huge. The lake is beautiful. Even looking at it you feel like your looking at a picture.Went to gift shop. Lots to pick from.Highly recommend.

Lake is peaceful with great snow mountain view. You can walk around the lake about one hour, very easy and relax.

QQ A — Google review

Beautiful lake, mostly flat trail around the lake that will take you about an hour to circle around the lake.Beautiful sunset here, red-winged black birds and other species can be found here including a bald eagle. Kayaking, SUP or fishing. We were here on memorial weekend and thought we could rent some kayaks or boats but they are not renting it yet so being your own. They say maybe around July they will be available.

This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have been in. We stayed on the C-Loop with our teardrop and enjoyed the space between the campsites. The bear boxes were first rate. The bathrooms were cleaned daily and while the showers we expensive at $5 per, there were no quarters required and no time limit. Add to it that the shower room was clean and tidy. It was worth EVERY BIT of the $5.The campground store was neat and had any supplies you might need. And the best part is an early morning or sunset walk around Manzanita Lake. This place is a treasure.

Brian H — Google review

Lovely lake. Easy flat trail circle most of it with incredible views of Mt Lassen. Part was closed to swimming because of aggressive otters. But didn’t see people swimming in the other parts. The bottom looked a bit mucky and not very inviting to me.

Lisa I — Google review

This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. The weather was about 70 degrees and light wind. The views and the landscape or just breathtaking. None of it looked real and I was stunned trying to take it all in. If you get the chance to visit I highly recommend you do so. It is life-altering and super peaceful up there. I saw that they have cabins for rent around the lake as well. You can find them online just by simply googling the lake. It is totally worth the trip and make sure you bring a way to charge your phone cuz you will take pictures non-stop while you are there.

Gourmet grocery store

Cafe

This was the main reason I stopped in corning, needless to say if you love olives this is the place to be. I love the different variety of Olives that you simply won't find in a normal grocery store, the dry black olives, the jalapeno cream cheese stuffed olive, etc. Also the cafe is great, try the mufeta Olive sandwich, and an olive oil milkshake.

Joe B — Google review

They have a great selection of items. Everything is tasteable and free from the oil to the olives to the jellies and spread and they also have a restaurant where you can eat ice cream right off the highway and must be for families, couples and families with children.

Lisa H — Google review

More olives than you can shake a stick at. And pickles. And more olives. And tapenades. And olives. Sure, there's also a restaurant here that has burgers and shakes (without olives). But they also have a LOT of olives.I bought three jars of olives, one jar of hot/spicy olive oil and one jar of "hot" cauliflower. All were nicely wrapped and survived the 3000 miles from here to home. Delicious.Yes, there are olives available for tasting. You want to try "Texas Hot Chili" olives or "Blue Cheese Stuffed" olives? Yep, that's available.

Bruce K — Google review

I love stopping by this place anytime I'm passing through. I love their balsamic vinegars. My sister loves the jalapeno stuffed olives. I did try out their food this time. I went with a turkey sandwich. It was not only delicious but I was quite happy with the portion.

Patty T — Google review

I love the olives here and they have so many. Besides being a diner they have a store that sells olives, olive oil and so much more. The store is pretty big with a large variety of flavored and snacks. It a must stop on highway I5 even if you don’t plan to eat

Kevin D — Google review

This place is AWESOME! I'm not a roadside attraction type of person normally. But this place has got me twice now in the last 6 months. This time I spent over $100, and it's totally worth every penny. I didn't eat at the deli last time, but after eating their olives, I knew the sandwiches had to be great. After I finished my sandwich, my mouth kept watering, wishing for more... great job.

RAMSEY B — Google review

I Love my olives I ordered from Olive Pit. First time I bought olives from here my husband and I stopped in on our way back to Portland. We were impressed, so if we ever drive to California from our home in Oregon we make sure we stop, but sometimes you are not open, or you can’t wait for someone to be traveling in that direction, you can always order online. The shipping is fast and reasonable as well.

Gena Q — Google review

They seem to have quite the selection of a lot of things (wine, pasta, spices, olives, some beer, dried fruit and candy)in this place which is super cool but what stood out to me the most is the selection of local honey! I bought some wild flower honey, it's delicious. I will be going back to get more things🤌They do have a little restaurant on the other side of the store, food was okay. We did get great customer service though.

Zury C — Google review

With many different stuffed olives and olive oils and other things. A great place to get olives of many types plus the tasting bar is a great way to sample some of the different types n flavors of stuffed olives. Plus there's a small restaurant and wines. A must see place on I-5. And you can order online $15 shipping.

Jon S — Google review

I visited on the recommendation of a friend. I ordered the fig balsamic vinegar shake. Wow, it was good! I also got a BLT sandwich, and it was loaded with goodies. Plus, they offer a side bar to add extra fixings to your food - so I added a few pickles, more lettuce ( I love extra lettuce), olives, and tomatoes. Definitely a great sandwich and shake.

Michon G — Google review

So many types of olives, olive oils, tapenades, vinegars, dips, seasonings, dressings... We can help but stock up. We also had lunch which was fast and really delicious. I had the muffelata sandwich, and my hubby had the turkey sandwich. Both were perfect. They also have a ton of milkshake options! So good!

Angela C — Google review

Loved the history lesson on Corning and olives. Their selection is phenomenal and as always taste great. Their deli BLT was flavorful.Perfect “pit” stop on your way through Northern Cali. Good people. Good eats!

Elizabeth M — Google review

Great cheeseburger and blueberry shake. Fast service and high quality. I was looking for drive thru on my road trip but this was better being able to put my own high quality toppings on burger. Highly recommend!

Bill H — Google review

This olive emporium just off of interstate 5 is definitely a stop worth taking! A store packed with a multitude of olives - including a tasting station - the place also has oils, balsamic vinegars, wine, honey, hot sauces, and gift items to list a few. They also have a cafe, which I checked out - just because. In spite of an intriguing assortment of sandwiches, including a bacon jam burger and a muffuletta, I chose the regular hamburger. Their side choices were bagged chips. As I went to the side to wait for my food, I saw that the "kitchen" was nothing more than a snack bar with machines - no grill or stove. This made me immediately question whether my choice of eateries might be questionable. I must say, though, I was impressed! Though far from the best burger I have ever had, it was very tasty and had all kinds of pluses. It was on a warm toasted brioche bun. The condiment bar included things like tapenade and olives, as well as the old standards. All in all, a satisfactory meal and a stop I highly recommend on any trip on I-5!

Ann W — Google review

Restaurant portion used to provide fabulous food, now it's barely more than food you get from a vending machine to heat in a microwave. It was overpriced even if it had been great food. The attached market is still a treat for specialty items.

Kristine C — Google review

Loved their sandwich. I loved that I could sample a few products first which I ended up buying three of them. I only wish they had a few more olive types to sample but the minus one star is because when I was shopping I felt like the employees were on top of me and even going in after I use the restroom when I spent over 50 bucks there today. I prob would have spent more if they were not over me and not letting me breathe and browse!

Michael T — Google review

Ton's of olive variations to choose from. Lots of spices and snacks. Lots or olive oil variations to choose from. There Is a restaurant as well. Smelled delicious and it was very busy but we didn't have lunch here. Parking was not bad. There is a restroom. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

This is a review for the amphitheater only:Extremely impressed! I go to around 25-30 shows a year and have been to literally 100s of venues. I know this is the first year of operation for this amphitheater and I know there is some kinks they'll work out. However overall it was VERY well done. The sound system here is obviously brand new, and is very high end. It sounds incredible for the size of this venue, and the owners did not skimp on building it.The security staff was impeccable! They did a amazing job of keeping people out of the isle and from standing at the gates in front of crowd blocking paying front row ticket holders views( this is a major issue at many places) they staff was friendly and did a good job of discerning between people blatantly breaking rules and people respectfully have a good time. The only issue here is parking and traffic control. The parking could potentially be fine with some or ANY parking control people on staff. There was literally not a single person directing traffic in or out. The did not close lanes or make one way traffic to flow the crowd out or in. People were moving and breaking barricades and blocking others. The walk from the rear parking lot is over 1/4 mile from the entrance and dirt.

Needed a pet-friendly room on short notice. Reservations were made quickly and easily with Bonnie by phone, who was friendly and knowledgeable about the property.Arriving very road weary, Jerry was patient and understanding, made check-in easy, plus he offered a special treat for our small canine traveling companion. Our room was clean, modern, and honestly nicer than I expected.Brewery had a nice on-site brewed cold beer ready for me, and the kitchen made a surprisingly decent Cobb salad. We are very pleased overall and will definitely stay here again.

It's my favorite casino on the western half of the US. Plenty of restaurant options, all of which are great. Customer service is always great. Drinks aren't horribly expensive. The win / loss ratio is very good. Rooms are great ( north tower ). Overall, must stop if traveling I5.

Nate C — Google review

This was the first time I have been here since they made it bigger, and it really is a very nice casino! I won, a few hundred here. It's always been a nice casino, but now it's really awesome!! So big! They did a very nice job with the expansion!

David M — Google review

It's a big casino with a large variety of games. It's very popular with the locals as the place is always busy. Lots of parking and several restaurants. It's worth checking out. I only gave it four stars because I'm down tonight!

Samuel P — Google review

Attended a private party at Rock n brew in the back room. Great space. The wait staff was wonderful. The bartender was great when we asked for big beers with olives. I highly recommend the restaurant. We were here on a Saturday night, and they had a great DJ at the main bar on the casino floor. I danced and had a wonderful time.Later in the night, however, my husband did not have a good experience. Someone bumped him at the bar and spilled a bit of his drink on the floor. After setting the drinks down, he saw a staff member with a rag wiping the bar. He touched his elbow so as not to startle him by coming up behind him. He told the guy about the spill to be helpful so no one would slip and get hurt. The staff member instead yells at my husband not to touch him and walks away. The bartender who witnessed this apologized and asked if he wanted to speak to the supervisor. He did, and after waiting a long time for him to show up, he explained the situation and showed him the spill. The supervisors response was to tell my husband not to touch his employees. My husband was dumbstruck. The supervisor walked away. Patrons sitting nearby asked if my husband was okay because he was just standing there wondering what the heck he did wrong. They stated that they watched the whole thing and he didn't do anything to deserve to be treated like that. And guess what? No one ever cleaned up the spill.

So. This review is most for the Amphitheater and their security for the great white/ slaughter concert.. security was a joke!! Wouldn't let the paying customers sit under the cool down misters to actually cool down. But instead kept kicking them away from them, and just walked under them as their own way of power or some sh×t!! My family and i have had many great concerts there, but after this horrible experience, and especially in an extreme heat wave that we had. Unfortunately, we will not be going back! Ever!

Pew P — Google review

Talk about a 5star experience. This place actually FEELS like a Vegas casino now since the remodel and update. Every employee I have come into contact with seems to have costumer satisfaction as their #1top priority. .... And the concert venue?!!??!!! Absolutely LOVE it. Their selection of machines to play and food to eat is an experience in itself that I highly recommend, and if u can stay in one of the hotels, I recommend that also. If your a golfer, U will NOT be disappointed in this challenging yet user friendly course just Make sure u bring LOTS of sunscreen as there isn't much shade!!! Their EQUESTRIAN CENTER hosts all kinds of horse events/classes And last but not least be sure u fill up on gas before u leave the casino as their gas is the CHEAPEST around for hundreds.... Yes, HUNDREDS of miles!

Trixie T — Google review

A nice spot to rest when you travel north, a lot of slot machines, RV parking and you can bring your horses here, friendly and the food is very good, they also have concerts and shows, if you are lucky you can witness the wild turkeys love dance 🦃 around the area.

Art H — Google review

Main entertainment attraction in the area I visited. Newer slot machines, video craps and roulette, 5 active card tables (last time visiting at around 11pm), multiple eateries inside and live entertainment (as scheduled). Can't be mad at the location, turned out positive on my visit. For a not so frequent gambler definitely makes me want to come back for another opportunity!

Charles S — Google review

We love stopping on our way to and from Oregon to drop a dime or to eat. We ate at Fatburger this time around and must say the burgers and skinny fries are outstanding!!!!! So yummy, I wanted more.

Diana B — Google review

I spent most of my time at the center bar, and it was lovely. Awesome people in there, I went alone and it was my first time ever drinking outside the house, and it was still very enjoyable. Would recommend the Scooby Snax as a co*cktail, and the Pineapple Upside-down Cake🍹🍸

Sedona C — Google review

Great place to visit food was delicious and the service was great people took the time to make sure you were having a great time and they have a non-smoking side if that part is a problem for you

Dav C — Google review

Rolling Hills would be the best casino in California's northstate IF they had a poker room.. I understand Poker doesn't bring in a large sum of money but it would bring in many people who would hit the main floor before or after playing a tournament. Overall great atmosphere (they aggressively clean the air so it's not too smoky) lots of slots, I think 3 bars in total so drinks are never far away. Fast dining options plus a sit down steakhouse that is sound proofed from the noises of the floor. I greatly enjoy Rolling Hills and It would be my #1 place to gamble IF that poker room existed.

Jaren L — Google review

A good sized modern Native American California Casino that's well lit, unlike many other versions that I have seen. It has many different slot machines available, for the gambling type, so you'll have a chance to pick your poison, so to speak. Additionally, they have a few different food options that are priced similar to other non-casino restaurants. Additionally, they offer a gas and diesel filling station on the South side of their property that has about 8 pumps, so it can get crowded fast. The good news is the fuel cost is usually a little less than other gas stations near by.

Greg R — Google review

Had a bunch at the Rock n Roll cafe. I was absolutely impressed with the sandwiches and the service. Lisa, our server, was a delight! Funny, welcoming, eager to please and so pleasant. She made the visit so pleasant that we'd go back just to see her. The sandwiches were outstanding as well. Try it!

Heidi L — Google review

Plenty of truck parking, good food, great service. What more do you want.

Jose M — Google review

My only complaint is that my hotel room was not connected to the casino. I had to exit and cross the parking lot. Besides that the staff is great, dealers are happy (it seems)

Wes W — Google review

Went for the food. It was amazing. Kids loved that there were robots that brought out our food.

Kyle T — Google review

Rolling Hills Casino truly is the friendliest casino, just like they advertise on their billboards along the 5 freeway. 10/10 would recommend, the staff always delivers top-notch customer service every time we visit. All the employees are great but a few of my personal favorites that I feel should be acknowledged are Josh and Justin at the bar with all the whiskey. They both make a mean old-fashioned and at the front of the house, the best casino host award goes to Michael Gonsalez, he is always attentive and greets both my husband and me, with a great smile. We have been to the concert area and the comedy show, needless to say, we had the best time each time. My husband also played at the golf course and took some friends over, they loved it. Thank you Rolling Hills for making our weekends fun and exciting!!P.SI will be bringing my family and friends over whenever they come to visit to experience Rolling Hills as well💵🔥Additional info: on the south side, they have diesel and regular fuel(diesel a few cents than at a regular gas station). They also have eletric chargers on the back north side, they are a little hidden but they are there. If you have a Tesla u will need your adaptor to charge FYI.

Zury C — Google review

We really enjoyed our stay. Our check-in, with Gerry, was a positive experience. He recommended some great menu choices at the restaurant in the casino, and he had a great demeanour!!The rooms are clean. The beds are comfy and the rooms are quiet and have a fridge and microwave. We played some slots in the casino and had a wonderful dinner at the rock and brew restaurant. The only negative was the lack of parking around the south tower, and the grouchy front desk girl, at the travel center in the morning. We would definitely be back and highly recommend this Resort.

Brenda C — Google review

Great place to stay and play! I win here! I have had quite a few great visits to Rolling Hills and the comps are very good as well! I highly recommend checking this place out if you haven't yet. If you have then you probably already know these things. Good Luck Everyone!

Update: Oct 2022 - The new restaurant Six two Eight is beautifully decorated and is a great relaxing place for a meal. We enjoyed nice breakfast yesterday.Great place to stop for gaming, meals and fuel. The place is extremely clean and safe with security everywhere. This is always a must stop for us and we highly recommend this organization.

I recommend this place! Especially if you are travelling northbound, it's a perfect stop to relax at! Great Casino & amazingly beautiful, clean, new hotel!! At under $100 per night you can't beat the value! They have a nice handful of 'fair' tables and plenty of slots... Excellent food, never overcrowded anywhere in here. Can Casinos be cozy??? 😉All staff & dealers are super helpful and friendly. Well cleaned and kept....all in all 5/5!

Such a beautiful park with tons of shaded areas and space for the family. During the summer they have lifeguards. There is a snack bar, restrooms for you to rinse off, a nice creek next to the pool and a toddler area (water is very low for kiddos to enjoy 🥰). Plenty of picnic tables and you have a park next to it plus plenty of hiking and paved trails

We had a blast doing the Still the One tour. The group was relatively smaller and led by a knowledgeable tour guide. We received a few beers on the tour, got an inside look at the rest of the brewery, and learned a lot! Our favorite part was drinking straight out of the tap with fresh beer only brewed about 3 days ago. We’ve done the local tour here but this is definitely worth the $25 walking away with a crowler, goodie bag, and a ride on the Time Machine!

Welcome beer, great tourguide and tasting at the end: a must when in Chico!

Very knowledgeable tour guide. We did the basic 45 minute free tour, which ends with four different samples of their delicious beer. I will definitely go back and take one of the longer tours. Place has an amazing history. Highly recommended.

I had a delicious lunch at their restaurant then took the brewery tour. We had Emily guide us through the brewery which started with a beer sample and she was very knowledgeable. The 45 min tour ends with beer also. I highly recommend this tour and lunch.5 stars

Scheduled a tour for my wife as we are road tripping through the West Coast. She had a really great time — big thanks to Shelby for being an outstanding guide!

Saamon L — Google review

Amazing free tour and great samples. Their Beer Geek tour is even better. On that tour, they take you into the real depths of the brewery and let you sample small batch beer right from the fermenter. They even give you a special Beer Geek growler and tshirt at the end. It takes around 3 hours and costs $50.

Stan S — Google review

Great tour! Fun to learn their history and rub and smell some actual hops!Beautiful, older, kettles from Germany there too. Great surprise tasting at the end! Restaurant on the grounds too.

Bonnie A — Google review

My favorite place to go in Chico but menu changes are not great. Sierra salad was my go-to and now they have a $14 balsamic salad with whole cherry tomatoes covered in dressing that you couldn't eat because they were slippery. At least cut the tomatoes in half so they can be stabbed with a fork. Candied almonds not as good as candied pecans and a TON of bleu cheese. For $14 you get spring mix, grated carrots, slippery tomatoes, and a glob of bleu cheese. No bread and balsamic anymore which would have saved the day. Please I implore you to reconsider your menu!! This is my third time back and maybe last (for food) since reopening and I’ve been so disappointed. The service and wonderful people that they hire are the godsend.

Peggy B — Google review

I was my 41st birthday and we were the only 2 on the tour and were able to see different hops and the start to finish brewing process I would recommend to everyone to take the tour well worth it

Feather Falls Casino & Lodge is a comprehensive entertainment destination that offers a wide range of gaming options, dining choices including a buffet and brewpub, live performances, and comfortable accommodations. It stands out as a unique bar where one can enjoy without encountering the numerous acquaintances of someone's mother or individuals associated with certain social groups. Although there may be occasional encounters, it appears to be less frequent than elsewhere. The bartenders are friendly, serving reasonably priced drinks.

I was there for a last minute concert. I had a great time, every employee I saw looked friendly and approachable if help was needed. The show was fun and I hope to return real soon.

I went for New Years Eve and had a great time. We ate at the Brewery and was disappointed with the Surf and Turf was less then desirable. The new york strip stake was cooked like a prime rib and not an individually grilled steak. The Lobster tail was not cooked all the way through. It was raw in the middle. It looked beautiful on my plate but not what I expected.

Jennifer R — Google review

We really enjoy going to Feather Falls Casino to dine at the Brewery Restaurant. The food is always great! The portion size is very impressive and when asked to cook my sweet potato fries extra crispy they get that right too!! So far every meal has been terrific and service was also good. In addition getting to watch all the other plates of food come out of the kitchen as it’s being delivered to each table is super impressive because I haven’t seen a dish yet that didn’t look delicious! I highly recommend the dining experience at the Brewery!

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. If we forgot something they had it at the front desk for us. The pool and spa were awesome for the kids and of course the casino is always fun. Definitely recommend feather falls casino and lodge to friends and family.

Oh my gosh, what a delightful place. The best part of it was this young hostess who pushes the drink cart. I believe her name was Gabby. Such a gorgeous personality she's certainly able-bodied and she made my night just the greatest. whoever hired her did a great job! She's super prickly on the outside and quite witty. But the girl is ultimately sweet, respectful, well-mannered great hostess again and wears a crown on top. Quite frankly, she's like a pineapple! As well as other people at the slots who helped me quite a bit.

Ronald O — Google review

I really enjoy this casino. I come up from Chico occasionally just to get their blended coffee from the Cafe and to enjoy some games. Always have a good time on the slots <3. Maybe one day I'll hit a nice big win too! I highly suggest this casino if you're in the area.

My first visit to this place was excellent! The room was very nice and clean, the woman who took my reservation, the former 911 dispatcher, was so patient with me and helpful as I was dealing with the sheriff as I'm on the phone with her!! Exceptional customer service, thank you so much to her for all her help!! My boyfriend and I ate at the Feather Falls Brewery, I had the veggie pizza and the artichoke dip, which were very good! The California haze ipa was my favorite beer!! Highly recommend this place to stay at, to eat at and to gamble at, thank you!!!

Cassie A — Google review

Did great for most of the night then lost the profit. The other party accompanying came out quite on top though so I can't think of a complaint. This is prob my favorite casino of them all, it's always such a fun time not sure exactly why it just is. Worth it even if you lose it all 😉!

Amanda Y — Google review

It's the only bar I can go to without running into the many many men my son's mom has slept with. Although I still ran into one. That time he wasn't visibly high in yayo though. The place seems to also be free if the many women who my son's mom is associated with that use crank and are members of FB 3some groups. All in all I like feather falls bars. The bartenders are nice. The drinks aren't overpriced. I don't gamble, but the times I have watched other people gamble, it's hard to get some soda. Kinda lame. The food is good. Although it could easily be better, but I used to be a Chef, so I say that no matter where I go.

We stayed overnight, it was one time of many stays by me personally.I'm divorced now, but me and my husband had stayed in the lodge several times, enjoying the less smoke smelling rooms compared to the gold counter rooms. The fireplace in the lobby and the aesthetic of this lodge is more classy and impressive than gold country, it's local competitor. The food at the restaurant downstairs in the casino was delicious, although the tables and dining room felt more buffer type decor, and I prefer a more aestheticly appealing look! But the food and service was great!

Its so warm and comfortable...room was amazing...bed actually was PERFECT... Hot tub/pool was peaceful... Casino was awesome, won enough to play for trip...rates were reasonable. This place is very comfortable place, every one are very friendly and if you're a senior no where else to go, this a place to go. Mary her daughter Terra are managing this place, Sam , John and every one that put their time to volunteer to help others are super nice. I tell people around me to come and enjoy the fun and loving atmosphere , and I myself adopted every body as my family, they have no choice but love me. Please come and join us, , just follow Mary's rules, simple as that

I've always have had really good experiences here. The Lodge is elegant and comfortable. The casino is fun, and usually pays out.. The brewery has great beer, excellent food, and an eclectic mix of live music. Gotta love it.!

We came for a night off from the kiddos and to celebrate my wife’s birthday. They had a tasty adult beverage (champagne) waiting for my wife in our room with a birthday card. It was a super nice touch and thoughtful! The room was clean and smoke free (yay)! We, by chance, got upgraded to a king suite. It was pretty nice. The hotel staff were all nice. I like that they have semi protected parking. We would totally go back for a night! Also like that you can access the casino from the Lodge. Easy peasy walk and you don’t get wet when it’s raining. The casino has a fairly large smoke free section, which I appreciate. It’s great. It’s mainly slots, with some black Jack tables. The slots are fun, a tad loud on some, but still fun. I like they have a snack bar that serves hot dogs, sandwiches, and coffee, etc.

The buffet is good with good foods and flavors. Serving prime rib, shrimp, salmon, with small stir-fry and dessert stations on Saturday night. Cost around $26 is a cheap price for all that good delicious food. Well worth the drive.

Feather Falls Casino and Lodge is a hidden away retreat. Enjoy, scrumptious foods, breath taking views with tranquility beyond imagination . Keep your pocketbook in check or you'll loose your socks. Electronic gaming devices are ' controlled ' , just like the remote for our television's. Sad part is there remotes are all set to Loose.

We love to go to this buffet because there are so many choices and the food choices are always great and they have prime on Fridays. They have so many choices they make different choices every day. The staff is so attentive to us and the customers. The keep checking back with you to see if need anything. They are very friendly. They treat you like Family.

rooms are clean and comfortable nothing extraordinary casino staff not so friendly especially in the food area not exactly the welcome mat for outsiders, some people just don't know how to earn a tip I'm not even sure if they get tips but I mean I think they do. And this most definitely is a local casino as you can tell by the staff and how they treat people they don't know or haven't seen I've been there a couple of times probably once or twice a month never have really had a excellent experience there

I highly recommend eating and staying at the Feather Falls Casino and Lodge. The lodge is very charming and very clean. We also had a great dinner there.I think what really sets this place apart from many others was the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. It didn't matter who we spoke with everyone was very friendly and if we had a question on where something was located, we were escorted there to make sure we arrived. My wife and I look forward to staying there in the future.

Mark B — Google review

It's a decent casino, pretty typical for NorCal. They have a good amount of slot machines and a large non-smoking section. They also have a decent number of tables that appear to stay open all night as long as someone wants to play. They also have full amenities as far as: Restaurants, Bar, Hotel, Pool, Spa, campground, tobacco shop etc....

Christie S — Google review

They give away a lot of free play money there that gets you in the door so you can lose your pay check! Make sure you get something from the snack bar before you lose your money that's the best thing at this casino snack bar. If yours person of color HIGHLY recommend you gamble you will win! I see it all the time! But if your using your players club card and you have a "Caucasian" Name good luck! Don't use your card it's racist! You won't win! If I ever win its because I wasn't using my card. Or the machine had a card already in it that belonged to Jose or Vang.

Good food all week. Great staff front desk to bartenders. Smoking rooms are available.Just minutes from downtown Oroville. Affordable for contractors servicing the local economy. Beware of weekend room rates.

Dennis O — Google review

I didn't rent a room. The waitress wasn't friendly. She rolled her eyes and seemed offended when informed the Shirley temple didn't taste quite right. The bar tender was very nice and quickly remade the drink. It was good afterward. Later the man passing out drinks was super nice and asked many people if they wanted a drink. I was impressed by his choice to go out of his way to do his hob.

Great place, Very good people! Non smoking area nice. But smoking area not great. But hey, casino. Staff were really super for our convention.

Went here for news years eve dinner. 50 bucks per person. 20 minute wait. We had prime rib, crab clay. Slice of lamb and battered shrimp. Mash potatoes were fabulous. Hubby had 2 cups of new England clam chowder. It was like ham and bean with clam. Honest it was okay. The main dishes were delicious. We ended dinner with expertly made flan. Rich. I highly recommend dream catcher buffet.

This by far is the worst casino I have ever been to in my entire life. And I'm not just another bitter guy who lost all his money gambling and can't take responsibility for my actions. I don't gamble that often and I didn't lose all my money simply because a Feather Falls you don't win anything I've never won one thing and when I say when I mean like 20 cents I mean I have never won one penny from this horrible casino. It would be understandable if this was my first time and I just wasn't lucky because that's understandable. But I have gone to this place at least 10 times and I've still have never earned $0.01 or more. And to top it all off the staff have terrible customer service. I know I look young but I swear to God I am id'd every 2 minutes at this place. I mean that's just excessive and a lot of the times they're still skeptical even though my ideas in perfect condition. All in all every time I've gone to Feather Falls I've regretted it and you will too. I suggest you go to Gold Country there are a million times better!

Amazing experience, amazing people! The energy was very similar to how I felt at summer camp as a kid. It gave a lot of "unapologetically ecstatic to learn" vibes. We held the Screech Owl, the smallest one, got to feed it chopped mouse, and then got a photo opportunity. They made sure everyone (9 total people) got a chance to hold, pet, and get photos.10/10 suggest everyone goes.

An amazing, one-of-a-kind experience. Even with the 2+ hour drive to get there from SF, and the considerable price tag, it was well worth it.They offer all kinds of experiences with the various types of raptors, and we opted for a private hawk walk (it's possible to choose 2 out of: hawks, falcons, and owls, and I reckon some would enjoy the variety, but we really wanted to focus on getting to know one bird and the hawk sounded like the most interactive one). After an extensive and informative introduction about the history of falconry, the types of birds they have, their habits and characteristics, we (my fiancee, the 2 falconers, and myself) went out to the wooded area behind the farm with a hawk named Mariposa. We learned the proper way to call her to our glove, and throughout the experience could more or less go where we wanted, call her, walk around with her for a bit, and then have her take off to perch as she pleased. There were also a few specific "tricks" we got to do with her and all kinds of photo ops, but to me the best part was probably just casually strolling around with a bird of prey on my arm. It's something my fiance had dreamt of doing since she was a kid, and she came out feeling her expectations had been more than met. We'd seen falconers at Renaissance Faires and such, but getting to actually interact with them is something different altogether. Something more people should definitely get to experience.

Falconry was on my bucket list and I can't tell you how incredible Kate and her birds made this experience! She is an amazing trainer and so knowledgeable. You can tell her birds enjoy their work. Thank you so much for allowing us to get close to these amazing creatures!

We had a great experience with our private class today. We chose hawk and owl and learned so much! Erica and Tony immediately made us feel welcome and comfortable. They were both very knowledgeable and shared that knowledge in an easy way. Thank you for the amazing experience!

West Coast Falconry is amazing! I visited with my sister and did the triple raptor experience. We interacted with a falcon, a hawk and an owl, learning interesting facts from the raptor experts. I highly recommend visiting West Coast Falconry. It exceeded expectations, and I expected it to be a wonderful experience.

We had a fantastic morning with Kate, Amber, and Morgan leading us on the falconry & hawking adventure of our dreams! It is such a unique experience to get so close to the birds - falcons, hawks, owls, vultures - and to see them fly free. The interaction that they can provide with their licensing, training, knowledge and location is amazing! I would recommend this to anyone - those who know they would love to know more about these birds and those who've never thought about it at all. I hope we get the chance to go back again. Thanks so much for the best day!

Enjoyed the Owl encounter. We had one one one time with about 5 owls. We learned about them. Got to touch them. The Owls flew to us. We seen them eat. We had great picture time. If you are fascinated by owls, this is a great experience. The 2 instructors were amazing! They knew alot about owls ans were able to answer all of our questions. We flew in just for this experience!

West Coast Falconry is an incredible business! I've done several of their classes and absolutely loved every single one. The birds are spectacular and Kate and her staff are so knowledgeable and helpful. I enjoy them so much that I wanted to include them in our wedding. A falcon was included as part of our ceremony was truly beautiful. Kate and Leah stayed after the ceremony with a Eurasion owl and a falcon for the guests to interact with and get photos with. It was an absolute highlight of our four-day wedding event! I can recommend West Coast Falconry without hesitation!

Kylie F — Google review

This was an amazing face to face experience with hawks, falcons and owls. Seeing them up close and handling was a magical experience. They are very knowledgeable about the animals and actually use them for hunting. We saw little training toys they use and how these birds of prey are trained to hunt with their human partner. Of course taught to call birds to yourself with guidance and even walk down a trail with hawk Isla on your arm! Overall would go again and take different family with me to experience this as well.

Bought my daughter the Triple Raptor Experience as a birthday present and she loved it. Erika and Faith were fantastic, made sure everyone had a turn with the birds, and were very willing to answer all our questions. We would definitely come here again.

Casino hotel providing slots & gaming tables, plus modern rooms, free Wi-Fi & a fitness center.

I stayed in the hotel for business I had in the area. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and staff are awesome--nice people and even with the masks I knew they were smiling! I didn't gamble but I could see that the casino was busy and the gamblers were happy! The food is the best in town and the pours on the drinks are generous. Save the drive to Nevada and give Twin Pines a shot!

Moved recently to Lake County. Keep going back to Twin Pines frequently. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The place is clean and comfortable. It's not over packed with machines being too close. There is enough room to be able to move around without feeling like you're navigating an obstacle course. The restaurant has a nice menu. The food has been consistently well prepared. We have eaten there numerous times. Not too pricey by today's standards. For some casino entertainment, I would recommend this place. And the gas station located in their parking lot, seems to have the best gas prices around. BIG PLUS!

Great hotel , have been staying here for almost a month... great people at the front desk, lots of parking.... location is pretty desolate, but if that's what you're into then maybe that's great. The casino itself is pretty small and doesn't really have a lot of options for food , fairly heavy cigarette smoke smell on the gaming floor, but I suppose that's normal for a casino

Nick C — Google review

The rooms are amazing. There some of the most spacious rooms I've ever have stayed in. Bed has to be the best hotel bad I've ever slept on. The pillows may even be better then the ones I own( I'm very picticular on my pillows). The room feels like a suite there so spacious. Location is nice feel as if your in the country. Pulls the small town right next to it is an amazing small town.

Easy to say this casino is my absolute favorite place to stay & play slots! The rooms are beautiful and very clean. It’s a good vibe when you walk in, great food options, and good drinks. The staff are ok, I think maybe a little overworked though. I would like to see more staff and waitstaff that bring drinks to the slot areas.

The staff is top notch, and the facility is very clean throughout. I had the steak medium cooked perfectly but was a bit on the chewy side. Played around 1000 dollars and my best hit was 30x. Didn't see one hand pay and I was on the floor 3 hours. Very tight from my little experience. Parking was easy and it was far from busy on a Thursday. Smaller casino, couldn't be more than a few hundred machines. 1 table of black jack and 3 card going.Room is nice, clean, spacious, and stocked with fridge and microwave. Window let's 100 percent of the morning sunlight in so get to bed early. I would come back again for a comped room.

This casino is one of my favorites in Lake County. The employees are awesome and go above and beyond to make the guests comfortable and enjoy their visit. The hotel has great rooms and comfortable beds. There is wheelchairs for guests that need them. The snack shack, restaurant, and bar have delicious food. This is the only casino in the county right now that allows smoking. The new gas station Uncle Buddies, gives you free play when you purchase gas. Twin Pines is an all-around great experience. I have never had a bad trip here. I recommend this casino over any of the others in the county.

I had forgotten my driver's licence there, which was used as my personal ID in order to take advantage of the casino's offer of free gambling money to first-time visitors. When I returned hometo Canada some one month or so later, I realized that it was lost!Just as I fretted about all of the hassle & the expense of securing a replacement, lo & behold I received an unexpected envelope in the mail from the Twin Pines Casino & Hotel ---- one that had my driver's licence inside it...!What a selfless, graceful & appreciative act on their part...THANK-YOU...!BTW, their breakfast menu is delicious, too...!

When we made the reservation, the concierge said she would put us in one of her favorite rooms. She did a great job. The room was large and comfortable. Good cook. Thank you.

Compt room, great customer service, cool relaxed atmosphere. It's located just outside of Middleton Ca near Clear Lake Ca. We took the scenic route from Fairfield to the back side of Lake Berryessa via Pleasants Valley Rd. It's the longer route, but I love the drive. The shorter route is Wooden Valley Rd towards Lake Berryessa, CA. We got to the Twin Pines Casino on a Thursday morning; early. It's a smaller casino, and the parking lot was nearly empty, which was the point. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is quite cozy with their pioneer theme, which I found to be astetically pleasing. They did a great job with the interior design. Great customer service at both the front desk & cashier. Very nice and welcoming. The room was much bigger and nicer than I had anticipated. If you look at their brochure, don't make your decision based on the photos. You won't be disappointed when you arrive. We had a 1 queen size bed, extremely comfortable. Blackout curtains, the desk, and the telephone had our name on the screen, as well as a separate charging station (not on a lamp)!! I really liked the bathroom design. It's in two sections. Toilet and tub are separate. Deep bathtub, big enough for 2. Complimentary body wash, shampoo, cond, and lotion. Comes with all the usual amenities, fridge, microwave, coffee, blow dryer, ironing board, and Wifi. This casino has new and old style slot machines. They are pretty much the same as any other casino you go these days. There's a gift shop and cafe. Overall, I was very pleased and will be returning.

Stayed here while in northern California on business travel. Clean rooms and comfortable bed. If I had to nitpick, the shower was rather deep and hard to get in and out of. I'm not much of a gambler, but I did sit down at one of the tables and had fun. Walked away up!

Quaint & cozy casino & hotel.I have absolutely loved each & every room that I have stayed in here at Twin Pines......All of the rooms are very spacious, with a very large & open vanity area, separate from the more private tub, shower & toilet room. The rooms give you with of the rooms are always neat & clean. If you can wait until you arrive here to get your gas or better yet, fill your tank, you will save a bundle & they give you free play for getting your gas herd.Reasonable prices, even if you don't have a free one available.I'm always given a generous amount of free play, despite not being able to come as often as I would like. As well I usually have at least one complementary night stay per month & sometimes that is for any night of the week.

This review is for the casino the restaurant and snack bar. The snack bar has a lot of sandwiches & wraps also things like spaghetti, lasagna, tri tip with veggies. Also a pretty good line up of desserts flavored coffee drinks hot and cold. They are open really late, like 1:30 I think. The Manzanita restaurant. I have eaten there a bunch of times. The food has always been very good. No complaints. Sometimes I'll get a server who up sales everything. I know times are tough. So push the expensive items get a bigger tip. But one server in particular goes hard in the paint. Other than that, very satisfactory.Casino is awesome. They have all kinds of slot machines. Old to brand new. They change them alot. Seems there is always someone cleaning or wiping them down. The casino staff is cool. Security has a big presents. To be expected. If your there for some shady reasons you gonna have your hands full. Back to the gambling I find the slots to be relatively loose. They have a $5 blackjack table later in the night. Always a contest or slot tournament, giveaway, football pool was very good. Lots of other things. Seems like they are always given Freeplay away. Good stuff. Shout out to the gift shop staff all very sweet ladies.I live in lake county so I don't stay there. That's why no room review . It's a great place.

Rooms are big but outdated. Need lights with USB ports and brighter.Service is fine but having to go into a smokey casino to check in in or go to the restaurant is not good.Convenient location for me.Restaurant did has been fine but having to pay for a roll and butter, that's a bit ridiculous.

The service at tables was sub par. The person who took our order seemed bothered by doing his job drinks sat at bar 10mins while he just gossiped with other staff. Table dealers mostly friendly. Other wise ease to get in and out for a little fun

Theft is not a priority. A casino guest cashed out a my big win when I went to my car to get my phone to take A picture. I asked them to look at the camera and they did, escorted him out and left me with no recourse said tuff you should have watched your machine. I turned the chair around to say hey I'm on the machine. They care a about profit not principle. Whatch you back they don't have yours

The people working here are Awsome! No problem taking care of transactions with a smile, even with the craziest of people! On the other hand, there was an employee of the casino who was behind me in line for fuel. She passed me and took the pump I was waiting for. I told her I was in line before her. She said “Ok I’ll move” then under her breath she said “after I pump my gas”. This is very non respectful of your patrons. Our farm buys A lot of diesel from you. Recreation center

Always a fun family favorite place. Lots to do for the kids with petting zoo, rides, and activities. There are food and drinks at various venues available for purchase. There are zip line rides, horse rides, train rides, and shows. My favorite is the Pig races. And of course they have pumpkins.

Rodney R — Google review

It's fun, it's crowded, it's expensive. But it's a tradition. I recommend going during the week when the parking is free and the tickets for the activities are cheaper. During the weekend the parking is $20 during the week it's free. Entry into the farm is free.. The tickets are 99¢ ea during the weekend and 89¢ ea during the week. The Zipline is 12 tickets weight limit is 50-250lbs (on a Sunday we waited in line for two and a half hours), the corn maze varies between 2-8 tickets depending on how big the maze you pick. Train ride is 4 tickets, airplane ride is 5 tickets, petting zoo is 2 tickets (animal feed is 3 tickets) coyote mountain is 5 tickets, carousel is 4 tickets, and the sunflower maze is 2 tickets. There are some free climbing structures and other things, slides, and giant tires to climb on. There are various places to eat on the farm including some food trucks on the weekend. The pony rides are $8 and the face paintings range from $5 for a small item like a tiny pumpkin on the cheek to $15 for a full face paint.

My brother invited us and it was so fun! So beautiful! Awesome variety of foods and drinks! Our only complaint is the pumpkins, gift shop, and SOME of the food/drinks are way too pricey.😓😬 But we came prepared with our own lunches. It's awesome that they allow food from home because there are lots of people with dietary restrictions and allergies, thank you Bishop's team!🙏💝 Pricey stuff but we still had a such a great time with my brother, his girlfriend and my mom.💞 We WILL be back because we have leftover tickets and Bishop's staff says they don't expire!🥳 Praise God!🙌UPDATE: we went back last minute and it was even better this time!(except we missed the rest of our family this time😔) Today we went early morning, packed a hot meal with hot chocolate, and the Fall weather was amazing! There's something for everyone here: agriculture, rides, animals, historical stuff, food, drinks, art, gift shops, playgrounds, live music, fun shows, and more! We missed the pony rides this year but we're definitely planning for next year. Thanks again, Bishop's team, you guys are so sweet!💞🙏🤗

Love coming to Bishop's. We visit multiple times in the season. I am surprised that parking is $20 on the weekend and they usually don't charge until October but they started on September 30th. I like to come during the week and let the kids play on the play structures. We get dinner, snacks, cider, beer, and you have to make sure you have one of their pies at home while they are available. Every year they upgrade and make it better, it can get crowded but it is totally worth coming.

Our family really enjoys Bishop's Pumpkin Patch. It's our favorite of all the patches we've visited. Beautiful scenery, pumpkins of many colors and shapes.Lots of activities to entertain children: Carousel, jungle gym, slides, petting and feeding farm animals, train ride etc. Favorite of all is gerting a hay ride to the pumpkins to pick one.The atmosphere is lovely, the smell of apple spice and lots of goodies to purchase from the bakery and the store. The corn mazes are really cool too. The staff are truly amazing and very happy to see everyone and make out visit a pleasant one.

Bishops is awesome for the whole family! There is a wide variety of activities from riding the train, painting, going on slides, panning for marbles and watching pig races! It's a great place because there is something for everyone. The pumpkin picking fields are huge! It is a very busy location. We enjoyed going earlier in the season (sept.) before it got too crowded. Check their website for specific information about rate changes and available events throughout the year. Their blackberry cider is so good! I recommend this place to anyone looking for a day of fall fun!

Awesome place for the family. My 2 year old daughter loves it. Lots of attractions, rides, play areas, and pumpkins galore! The place is huge so parking is no problem. Food and beverage is on point and I love the hard ciders!!

My favorite spots are the u-pick sun flower farm, petting zoo and corn maze. The train is fun to go on a short ride and see giant pumpkins. The pig race is a great free show but only available on the weekends. Foods are too pricey. Appreciate the free admission. Parking is free in September and on most weekdays . I go here every year.

Probably the best Pumpkin Farm I’ve ever been on!! Went for my niece’s 5th birthday party. What a nice surprise of all the things to do, things to eat, etc. The staff is friendly and easy to approach. The lines were a little much but we were also there at the peak of the day. Loved the train ride and yummy cider. I actually can’t wait to go back! Both Adult and kid friendly!

I loved the pretzels and the delicious apple cider, so much so that we bought a gallon to take home, the family atmosphere was very calm, and we went early on Halloween day, there was more movement when we were leaving but the walk was very fun

We love it here! So much to do and see. Definitely always a big part of our fall bucket list. Totally worth the drive for us in Grass Valley.

I went blind into this experience. I thought it was just gonna be a farm with pumpkins but the arrival shattered my beliefs. The place is a wonderful spot to bring the family or a date with these feelings of nostalgia. There was nothing I didn’t like and I was more giddy than my girlfriend. Best thing I’d say is the Apple Cider Floats.

I am so glad that I found this place. It’s a huge place with so much fun things for kids and adults. I really appreciate the whole team, the volunteers and everyone who works there none stop all day with a happy face , Thank you to each and everyone. 🤗

I've loved Bishops since I was a kid, and now my kids have grown up going and love it. It was always my small hometown fall activity. It expands every year, which is amazing butttttt The downside is that it is a huge "tourist attraction" now & its overly packed with people, which is much less enjoyable.

CC B — Google review

Great family adventure and the pumpkins were huge! Treats were so tasty. We got two pies and the pumpkin was the best I’ve had.

Kemora H — Google review

Had THE BEST client appreciation event last night. The staff working the fire pits in the 100 Acre Woods was so friendly and helpful. When we needed some items we forgot to bring with us they were quick to find us what we needed. They were gracious hosts and we can't wait to have another event there next year. Thank you Bishops!

Anderson's Conn Valley Vineyards is a winery in Napa that produces powerful Cabernets. Visitors can take a tour of their wine cave and taste some delicious wines while learning about the vineyard's history, growing seasons, wine chemistry, and tasting notes from knowledgeable staff. This winery is highly recommended for those looking for an intimate and elegant experience in Napa Valley.

This is what you imagine a wine tasting is going to be like. In the cave, with the owner, spending time enjoying wine and hearing stories for hours. Oh, and every wine was one “we’d want to drink at home” (as Todd asks).

Eric C — Google review

The wine is absolutely wonderful! We’ve visited many vineyards and this farmer owned and operated winery is by far the best we have experienced. Do not expect the fluff of the big $ vineyards. Expect great wine (no exaggeration or fluff here either), real people, and true commitment to being the best. No detail is missed. From the early season vine nurturing, to the grape harvesting, to the wine making, it is all done very thoughtfully and intentionally. Purpose drives this vineyard and it comes through in the end product. The wine is worth every penny and every last drop is exceptional!

Randy S — Google review

Dan was an awesome host. THANKS DAN!!!! What a more relaxed atmosphere and great stories. Learned alot from him. Was able to try multiple reds and loved them all. Thanks for letting me drone over the vineyards. We look forward to enjoying the wine at home.

We have been going to Anderson's Conn Valley Vineyards since the early 90's. Like a fine Grand Cru, they have become better with every passing year. My wife and I have experienced and endured many changes in the valley over the past decades and I am happy to say Alexander's Conn Valley has remained consistent. Changes have been noted, but when it comes to their excellence the only changes that have occurred are that their wine and the experience they offer has gotten better. My wife and I of course know it is a team effort, but would like to especially recognize Zartha. Zartha took us in at a moments notice and gave us one of our most memorable wine tastings to date. Her knowledge was equal to that of her graciousness, which gave us the Napa Valley wine tasting experience most people seek, but few find.Todd and team, please make sure you recognize the value Zartha brings to your winery.Kevin & Kathy

Lovely time tasting delicious Anderson's Conn Valley Wines with my girlfriends and new friends from Miami on November 28, 2016! Mario was fun and knowledgeable while presenting wines and cheese in the cave. What a great way to start our day, thanks Mario. karen

Chef John and I had an exceptional afternoon tasting wine with Todd and Gustaf. Their hospitality, knowledge of farming, winemaking and Napa Valley's history was impressive and fun to experience. Sarah was a gracious hostess and obviously keeps the operation humming. This is a very different Napa Valley tasting experience. Down to earth people and great wines!

Zartha was an amazing hostess. Can't say enough thank yous for the great experience and education.

After spending 2 days in Napa and Sonoma, Anderson's Conn Valley was hands down the best winery we visited. Mario took us to the wine cave where we tasted some delicious wines and he explained the history of the vineyard. He answered all of our questions about growing seasons, wine chemistry, and tasting notes.

Opened 2 bottles of 2009 Eloge this weekend. After laying for 23 years, it is still fantastic! Many thanks to Todd & crew!

K A — Google review

We had a beautiful tasting with Zartha. She spent so much time with us and we were able to taste many wines that are both delicious now and will be amazing as they age. Love the different varietals that are not as common in Napa! This is a must visit!

I had a lot of wine here. Maybe a little too much. However I left here with a Magnum bottle with a great smile on my face

Jarvis Estate Winery is a popular hilltop winery offering tours and tastings. The winery boasts an underground cave with large oak barrels and a waterfall, creating a unique experience for wine enthusiasts. Visitors can learn about the art of wine making and witness the dedication of Jarvis Winery to their craft through engaging tour guides who are knowledgeable about the process. Despite being sold out at times, it is highly recommended for those looking for an exceptional wine tasting adventure.

Jonathan is our tour host and he is amazing. Our tasting experience is wonderful, get to know about the winery, their owner, and most importantly tried many of their best wines. Highly recommend.

One of my favorite...Jarvis never gets old. The wines continue to be amazing. Cora hosted us and it was great to see her. She has been there since 2006 and I think she has been the one to host us since 2008.

Bob P — Google review

We visited Napa Valley for the first time and want to visit several wineries. We visited Jarvis the first day and 3 others the next day. We made reservations weeks in advance which is recommended. They were all different and all had their pros and cons. Jarvis was very unique with the winery underground. It was very classy and upscale. The wines were very good but also out of our price range. Our tour guide (forgot her name) was excellent! Very informative and very friendly. This was our favorite wine tour and the most unique. Highly recommend!

John M — Google review

Jarvis is one of the best wineries / tours we have ever been on. We've been members here off/on - no doubt about it - it IS exclusive and expensive. But it is oh, so worth it. This is an experience that is worth the tasting fee. The estate is magnificent, the doors into the caves simply breathtaking and the caves themselves are just..... there are no words. OK - maybe.... Magnificent. We have never been disappointed here. I don't know what was going on with some of these negative reviews, but for us - every time has been beyond amazing. The tour, the caves, the wines, the cheese. If you are looking for an experience that you can talk about for years to come - this is it. Ask for Rob - he's great!

Laura A — Google review

Great wines and Rob made us laugh throughout the entire tour. The cave system is quite amazing. Some of our best pics and best wines all weekend! Thank you Rob for making our birthday party fun!

Absolutely a must! Small group and a very informative tour. The wine tasting had a wide variety of 6 wines including vintage. Family owned businness with a lot of history! Wonderful experience!

Ana M — Google review

If you do only one winery tour while visiting Napa, this should be high on your list! Because all phases of the wine making occur in this cave, you learn about each of the processes while touring a really cool facility! And the wines were magnificent! A definite must do!

Lynn J — Google review

Awesome experience. Melinda was a great tour guide, extremely knowledgeable and engaging throughout the whole visit. This really makes you appreciate the art of wine making and how dedicated the Jarvis Winery is to the craft. Highly recommended!

G A — Google review

Nestled in a ridge in beautiful Napa, this winery actually extends over 1300 acres in different locations near the cave. I promise you, you will never experience such unique time with the guided tour. $100 will get you the experience of the guided tour full of details about the history of the owners and how they acquired such property back in the 80's. Their unconventional methods of producing wine is what makes them so unique and interesting. The tour consists of taking you inside the man made cave where they explain their wine producing methods, a showcase of their gathering room for private parties and of course the wine testing which is very private, and informative. You are placed in a room with cheese and crackers and six empty glasses at which time, the guide will start with the first wine, explaining the characteristics of it as she is serving it. For each subsequent wine the guide will do the same, placing attention and care to each wine. At the end of the tour you can purchase a bottle. These are high end bottles of wine I highly recommended it follow me and my adventures ig @sin_aguayo_canelito

As a frequent wine drinker I don’t get amazed as frequent these days. But the Chardonnay and Cab Franc is truly world class. That is the only Cali chard I think is worth $175 and I am not even a white wine lover.

Our absolute favorite Estate Winery in the Napa region. If your in the area and are a true wino this place is a must. They are reservation only and definitely on the pricey side, but its well worth it. Came here in March for a private tour and had a great time. The Wine cellar itself is located in a man-made cave located in one of the hills on the estate. The cellar is huge, cool, and something I've never seen before. Now as for the wine, there all delicious. Your tasting is paired with a yummy French imported goat cheese, crackers, and assorted nuts. The wine tour guide was fantastic and taught us not only about the property, its history, and wines; but also wine history and pairing it.Overall a must if your in Napa, cheers!

One of the most beautiful place I've a definitely hidden gem. Due to personal issue have not have the time to write a review. but Gods know there is nothing unperfect that place. The plan, the care, the mastermind among many other details in the whole process is incredible; nevertheless the cave or the estate. I even have the honor to meet he owner. Today my best friend was there because I did recommended he told me they delivery I just want to say thank you for everything and keep the good wine coming For those people that don't know their Tempranillo and Chardonnay aside from their signature Cabernet are so amazing

Wow, the cave tour was really great and having the opportunity to see the production areas, the waterfall and the ballroom was really special. The tasting was great, I felt like it was slightly rushed towards the end, but I guess it has to end at some point. Overall great tour, great cave and great wine. We took a few bottles home to enjoy in the future.

It's like being in retail heaven. There are so many options to choose from. Name brand stores of every kind from clothing to handbags to perfumes to shoes and home furnishings and so much more. There is literally something here for every member of your family from the tallest to the smallest. You get high quality items at a fraction of the normal cost. There are public restrooms and places to grab a refreshing beverage to quench your thirst or satisfy your sweet tooth. There is ample parking but be sure to wear comfortable shoes if you want to experience everything this outlet has to offer. To ensure a safe, healthy and enjoyable shopping experience face mask are required at every store for employees as well as customers so come prepared.

Fran C — Google review

I enjoy shopping at a few of the stores here. They keep up the property pretty well with bathrooms available. I've to unfortunately give a lower rating due to removing the benches from the property. Not everyone can stand for long periods of time while the rest of the family continues shopping. Many of the patrons here are of senior age as well. Recently they also added a huge dumpster to the main parking area next to charging station that makes it difficult to park and navigate. With online shipping it's becoming harder to justify coming. Vacaville Premium Outlets has become a second-class outlet center in recent years. Many premium name-brand outlet stores have moved out after the San Francisco Premium Outlets opened many years ago. The phase one section of the outlet center still has some good stores, but the phase two section is pretty empty, or it has only a few stores I want to shop. The old design with the parking lot in the middle of the outlet mall is also outdated. Most of the shoppers drive their cars directly to the stores they want and skip everything in between! So the less famous stores will have a hard time Survive!

Michael W — Google review

Their sales are great there if you have time and want to shop this is the best place for deals this is the place to go man women and children baby clothing in all sizes the best thing is you are outside so you can get fresh air while shopping several bathrooms they are always kept clean and parking if you have a large vehicle you can always park in the back of the store area. The only Improvement that I can think of is if they had more benches for elderly to sit down and rest that can't walk long distance or stand very hard to sit on curb

Didn't have a chance to go to all the stores, but there were a lot of places to go to, plenty of parking, and much fun to be had. Not a bad place to go at all.

Samantha T — Google review

I love this place as it has everything you want! I wish they did have more deals during holidays and closeouts. It's still a great place to pick up quality clothing at a fraction of what it would cost in a retail store! Park over at Sam's Club and walk over as there is more shade in the summertime, so your car won't be scorching hot when you return!

Cheyne M — Google review

Last time I visited this outlet it was more than 10 years ago. Back then this outlet you can find quality products with discounted price! It was quite a disappointment when we drove by and stopped to checkout again! Most of the name brand stores are still there but can’t find any decent stuff anymore, most products are low quality or not appealing, even with 15%, 30%, even 50% off are still not attractive at all!It is very sad to see this mall become, the traffic reduced so much, even the Starbucks been shutting down!Parking are very easy, vending machines also available in many corner near the restroom’. Not interested to stop by again when we drove by next time!

Steven C — Google review

This place has become a tradition for my wife and I. We will come once or twice a year and the deals are always great. we were able to get most of our holiday shopping done and although there were a lot of people there, we found parking and found exactly what we were looking for. I always enjoy a day here and its worth the drive!

We went here on a weekday afternoon. Lot of parking but very dull. The stores are just okay. If driving on 80 good to stop for restroom and coffee.

Under armor from vacaville premium outlet will make your day miserable. I grabbed a size 4 curry basketball shoe places under a $29 sign and checked out. They were charging me $75 instead. When I asked why, they said Under Armor made size 4 men shoe and it was misplaced on youth shoe shelf. It is a men shoe so it is more expensive despite it is literally look like a size 4 kid shoe. I said okay and asked if they have boy Curry basketball shoe, they pointed me the pink curry and told me it is unisex color. I said okay and grabbed a pair to check out, they charged me $49 again, when I asked why it is not $29 as their sign shows, they said sign is for other shoes, this pair does not have a sign and it is $49. I said ok and grabbed some youth sneakers from back wall where it says youth clearance at $19, they charges me $39 at check out and said those are men shoe which are misplaced by clients. I could not believe it and showed them there are three same shoes all put in the youth wall, how come all of them were misplaced by clients? they said no, we cannot price men’s shoes as youth prices.at the end, I asked if I can turned my gift card into cash and leave the store because I don’t want to anything from this store anymore, they said no.Guys, It is a great way to waste time and energy shopping at under armor store in Vacaville premium outlet. The retail team was poorly trained and has million ways to try to charge you more at counter. I recommend their products but would not recommend their service.

Julie S — Google review

Love this place !! Only issue I have is that the close at different times. Or when you lookup the store hours online and it will say a store is open til a certain time but when you arrive the stores are closed or closing. So basically several stores need to update their store hours online.I was under the impression that all of the stores closed at the same time. But this is not the case.
